I have always believed exactly that. It’s only logical. History supports this 100%. I am so happy that Imam Siraj Wahhaj stated this so eloquently. No one can deny the truth.

Very true what our brother Siraj is saying, I think it's doable and that leadership must be institutionalized/centralized under a leadership model. This country has a President (each State has a Governor, each City has a Mayor) as do most of the Masaajid and Islamic Organizations. If they can agree on a vision and a strategy we will be successful. Perhaps we will not have one Amir but we should and must have centralized leadership although it is in the form of a group with a group objective and a group mind. These organizations may not all agree on the vision and the strategy 100 percent, but they must if they expect growth support it. That is what is called consensus. Consensus means I'm not 100 percent but I can go along with it; i.e. I can live with it and that it is acceptable enough to support it. When we can follow something and someone long enough to actually measure it and have some results then we can determine how effective our strategy is. The vision is different than the strategy. The vision is the destiny the strategy is the method of achieving the vision.

“ Muhammad is not but a messenger. [Other] messengers have passed on before him. So if he was to die or be killed, would you turn back on your heels [to unbelief]? And he who turns back on his heels will never harm Allah at all; but Allah will reward the grateful. “. Quran 3 : 144
