I have a suggestion you should make a laser tag mode where each team earns points the longer, they hit the other team and there are two places like the teams "Base" were if the other team hits a target there, they get more points, and it takes a while for the target to be shot again. I love this game! You're a great developer. As a beginner in unity, I look in awe at what you do.

A pure multiplayer game has the risk - especially when small - to quickly die of due to the lack of players. Adding sandbox elements (building things) could help, or bot ai. So players have something to do when waiting for others to join.

Yes, that is a risk I'm aware of and will ultimately determine the fate of X-Mode. I do have plans to add bots.

@@xzippyzachx Asynchronous multiplayer systems can help too, to keep people engaged in on low population servers. For example a challenge map that gets scored (against bots, turrets or other obstacles, collecting points, using a vehicle etc). The players score gets recorded and shows in a weekly and alltime highscore list. Seeing others be recently active or trying to beat their score can get traffic to your server, even if the players cant match up at the time.

I learned how to use Firebase, setup login etc. through your tutorials a while ago. Seeing this video now I congratulate you! First Steam game is truly major goal IMO. Also you learn a lot of unexpected troubles of using Steam (I am tried of making the same logo in different weird sizes, help). Good luck in your game! :)

personally i think weapon/grenade/consumable pickups should be a bit bigger and maybe have an outine kinda like the player does on the killcam so its more obvious what u can pick up and so there easier to see

Do you mean items that are dropped on the ground? Because they do have an outline when you have your courser over them.

@@xzippyzachx yeah items that are dropped, such as the frag that has a chance to drop when u kill an infected. An outline would be cool or really anything to increase visibility because during gameplay while ur running around and focused on other stuff it might be hard to notice the small pickup.

Firebase will get pretty expensive if the game does well, just as a forewarning.
