I visited Ranthambore Park in 2017 and will never forget the magnificent male tiger I saw. Am very sad to hear poachers are active there but relieved Marcus and team rescued tigress from snare and she and her cub were able to be free again. I heard that the local children were being encouraged to support the tigers which bring tourism money and employment to the area. I hope more can be done to deter poaching of these awesome and beautiful creatures, they are far too precious to lose!

It’s so MAGICAL, when an animal returns ( often w/family) to show their gratitude for the person’s help! My Mother rescued and healed an adorable baby owl ; taught it to fly, and one day he took off! A few days later that owlet returned with its mother, to say, “thank you”. It breaks my heart to think about the glorious world God made, when animals did not hunt one another & lived without fear among humans - but then preachers who say there will be no animals in heaven - I do not agree. I became seriously interested in big cats, especially lions, about 35 years ago, not knowing it would lead to to me eventually becoming a big cat keeper. Although years of study had revealed amazing stories like this one, they did not prepare me for what would actually happen. On the very first day, two cats, a lion (the one in my avatar) and a liger chose me to be good friends. And we remained good friends up to their respective last breaths. The bond that a person can have with a big cat is really hard to describe, but it is life-changing, even spiritual. What I learned is that these creatures, under the right circumstances, desire to have a relationship as friends and companions with us, even though we could just as easily be a meal for them. So, what happened here is no accident, and serves as a powerful reminder that we as humans have a responsibility to respect and conserve all life. It is something toi take seriously, and it is my wish that every human being could find a big cat to be best friends with!

I also was given two coyotes by a mother who was seriously injured. Never seen the mother again. The two babies grew up. They would hang out like dogs. Had two return east, this changed my life. I will never forget that wonderful winter, and I thank God for that experience!

I love TIGERS ; they are intelligent beautiful animals , I have had the pleasure to set beside an Adult Tiger in Thailand , so powerful so majestic , scary .... a little , but having nearly died from Cancer , I was unafraid. The musk scent , heavy sweating , the cat's get hot ...and they rinse them off to cool them there , you can hold a cub , maybe next time , but I wanted to be beside a full sized Adult , he turned looked into my eyes as I pet his neck , back .... BIG BIG Eyes too. The Thai handlers were freaking out then , but I was unafraid , calm. Life is so strange and wonderful. That was 2017 ...

A couple decades ago now, my young adult son surprised me for Mother's Day, wouldn't tell me where he was taking me, went to a mall in a small city . . . they had exotic baby animals, a lot of adorable variety, I got to feed baby monkeys & 2 or 3 baby tiger cubs, held one on my lap, heard it purr . . . I still have those photos . . . told my son, he never had to give me another mother's day gift for the rest of his life, such a treasure!!!
