Finally had to get this one especially for $49! Good demo. I couldn't get the thick plucks or thick attack with the most other emulated plugins or my Hydrasynth; however, I could get the sound with Omnisphere using the MiniMoog samples which I think solidifies this emulation.

There should be a warning about the sound at 3:27 to protect people's hearing. Actually, it should be edited out.

Crazy how just that plugin was $199.99 nine months ago and now Plugin Boutique is selling the 44 plugin bundle, which includes the Minimoog, for just $299.50. That's under $7 a plugin, which is insane.😮 I steered clear of UAD for years due to the high prices, but I jumped on this deal because it was too good to pass up, even if I'll probably die before I fully use all those plugins.😅 This synth sounds like actual electricity running through audio outputs. It's impressive. It has that "it" factor, girth and weight to its sound. The filter resonance obviously can't touch the hardware, but it's really good. I also have Arturia mini-V and GForce Minimonsta, and while also sounding fantastic, there is no comparison to the UAD version. Those have that recognizable "VST sound."

Exactly. This and Softube's version of the Minimoog is on another level compared to other VSTs. I have Model 72 from Softube but I'm thinking of buying this one too because of the BF promo.

Today $69 for UA MiniMoog plus Opal Morphing synths + Studer A800, Lexicon DD and UA 1176 bundle! At Plugin Boutique. 8 months ago, I got PolyMAX for free from Loopcloud. These UA synths just keep getting cheaper. Is there a strategy at play here?

I have this plug and love it, selling my hardware as a result. I couple of things I'd like to see improved: it's not super obvious if a switch on the front panel is on or off, it's a bit too subtle IMO. I'd like a poly mode, and very importantly please add MIDI learn.

I don't know about the Apollo pci card, I use Cubase Pro 12, with a Mac mini, M1 chip. I bought it yesterday, it's on sale for £59. If you get it from TPB, you'll get the Dirty Tape as a free gift.
