no software can replicate the high frequencies like this one from UAD. In my opinion it's the best hammond clone so far.

That is exactly the point: all the clones lack in the higher drawbars, especially the 1'. I haven't checked out the UAD thing up to now, but I have a real A-100 and a Suzuki-Hammond SK1. The sounds in this demo nailed it definitely. But nonetheless I will leave a comment after I bought the UAD thing...

Hi, thanks for your interest! Yes, you can control the virtual pedals from a MIDI pedalboard. The pedal section is on MIDI channel 3, so you would just need to make sure that your MIDI pedalboard is set to output on that channel. Thanks Jacob! But I do wish people would stop calling a plug-in a "VST". That's just one of many formats. Logic or ProTool can't load VSTs, they habe their own format. It's not the same thing.

I think the reason people generally refer to all plugins that come in VST/VSTi amongst other formats by the term VST is due to the fact VST is the most widely spread in musician's subconscious. If you fave YTer uses VST as a synonym for "audio plugin" or "virtual instrument" It's not only "not the end of the world" but also it's one of the ways to unify communication with the viewer. Like I said, the "VST" umbrella term is something super widespread. It became a term for any plugin by linguistic simplification. Like, similar case with velcro, googling, etc.

@@Czyszy You're right, hardly the end of the world. But no harm in trying to use words correctly, no reason we can't improve. I only find that among KZbin producers, haven't met anyone in real life that says VST as a substitute for plug-in. Well, yet. Just image someone saying "this VST is AAX-only, not VST".

This video just put me off getting it. I get it does grain, dirt, dirtier, even more dirtier, more of the same dirt etc. it got to the point that i figured it can’t do any it by with out drive on. Obviously it can, but this video was very bland. And come on, you acted like you had never used a VST before. 😂
