Thanks for the video. I have one of these for my 5lt mini kegs and it works great. Quick question, is hand tightening fine for all the fittings or would you tighten with spanners?

Adam Cheal I would Always advise nipping up with a spanner unless they are plastic fitting which are normally fine hand tight. Keg disconnects are also fine hand tight as they have a “soft nose”

Is there any problems having the SodaStream CO2 bottle laying down like that? Having problems fitting it in the fridge vertically but horizontally would be possible.

My gauge is stuck in red with no gas attached, any idea if it can be reset or how to fix it? It will still dispense gas if I attach a mini Co2 bottle but but the dial doesn't move. I've only used it a few times, very annoying.

Hi, I bought this a couple of years ago and it's started leaking out the back valve when I screw the gas bulb in. The whole bulb will leak out the back like something is stuck inside. Is there any maintenance i can do to fix it.

Mine bypasses from the small orifice on the back constantly. Not a huge rate but noticable. I have tried with both a soadastream and large cylinder with no success ( apart from loosing a load of gas) is there something that I should be looking at ?

Hi, Did this come from us? If so can you email us at [e-mail]? It should vent through this if the pressure in the keg is greater than then pressure set but not from the cylinder unless there is a poor seal or damaged seal somewhere in the regulator

Bought one this week. Did a closed fermenter to keg transfer tonight. It iced up and gauge needle now rests at 15psi! Any suggestions ?

Yeah, as it’s a dispense reg you have to be really careful when passing large amounts of CO2 quickly as they will indeed ice up. The gauges are easy to replace and we have spares. Email in with your order number and we can pop one in with your next order.

Finding it impossible to remove the build-in adaptor supplied with the regulator. Got a big spanner on it and it will not shift. Will need to figure out a way of clamping the regulator without damaging it. Any advice?

Am I missing something? If I attach the regulator (turned off), it just vents freely out the back of the regulator.

Either there is a silicone seal missing or you are not doing it up tight enough. There is an outside chance there is a fault but in most cases it’s one of the first two issues. Give the bottle some welly;)

Turned out there were two washers, stuck together. Removed the extra one, and it seems to be working fine now. Thanks for the prompt response!

I've got one of these and it seems to have stopped letting gas through - i'm using it with a soda stream canister, with a gas line and ball lock connection. The needle just stays at 10PSI, or very slowly rises. Do they ever "jam up"? Is there a way to try to diagnose the problem? thanks

If you take the gas line off and operate the reg, does it do the same?

Max Williams Yes, that will year the reg. you sure you have a full cylinder?

@@themaltmiller8438 The cylinder is nearly full - i actually bought a full one because I thought the first one had run out and it's the same. I tried removing the ball lock (I couldn't remove the whole hose, it was too tight). There is a very faint puff when I open the valve. If I hold my thumb down tight on the end of the hose, the needle on the regulator does keep going up, but only about 1psi per second. What is really weird is that I borrowed my friends, and that worked fine for a while but then developed the same problem. IN both cases it happened when they were left connected overnight.

@@maxwilliams6872 I bought one from China Taobao, it was defective. They replaced after long video exchanges, showing them the abnormality. Yours May be defective too. (I haven't try the replaced valve yet)
