My wife is terrified about climate change and sea level rise particularly since we live near the coast. I'm using that fear to buy a place in Orlando so we can "avoid sea level rise". I end up being closer to Epic Universe as a result. I see this as a win for both of us 😂

If Trump wins the election, don’t be surprised if climate change destroyed the planet DURING his presidency. Covid and climate change both are the only things anyone should be concerned about at this point.

Yeah, the flag and usually a tree branch for topping out. Alot of times its a pine tree branch. I believe the tree branch is related to the wood that it took to build the structure from old times before steel.

Busses will travel between the original resort and Epic Universe, as well as all on-site hotels, via new dedicated bus lanes on the extended Kirkman Rd.

With the expansion land at UEU, I’d be surprised if Universal added more than one additional world to the park. The open plot between Nintendo World and Dark Universe would most likely be used for the expansion of those two lands. The other large plot next to Stardust Racers would be where one additional world could be built. It is a bit of a bottleneck though between Stardust Racers and the Wizarding World. If they added a new world there, the portal would be set back further away from Celestial Park than the other four portals. Universal’s master plan would be to add a 4th theme park where the parking lot for UEU will be and then build parking garages across the street from the two parks that would be connected by bridges spanning over Epic Blvd. All the additional worlds Universal could come up with would be used for that 4th park. Another (4th) gate would add even more revenue for Universal, best for UOR to keep building theme parks.

Garages are much more expensive to maintain, but flat parking lots are easy to permit, take care of, and quick/cheap to build. All Walt Disney World theme parks use flat lots. It's easiest for a single park destination. But, when and if they add a second park down here, you better believe they build garages then, as they hold more cars and take up less space!

Driving down Universal Blvd from the current Universal Orlando Resort towards the Orange County Convention Center gives you a nice view on your left. As you pass the convention center on your right, you'll see the Terra Luna and Stella Nova resorts on the road on your left!

Another great update by Alicia -- On a side note, the designs of EPIC are top notch but there are only two unique rides. Harry Potter Ministry & Donkey Kong coaster. All other rides are highly themed off the shelf rides and coasters. Dark Universe looks like a great themed land but the Monsters Unchained ride looks like a cross between Transformers ride & Spiderman ride using the kuka arms from Forbidden Journey ride. IMO Monsters Unchained will be a huge disappoinment and the rest of the park will be a "coaster' park. Puzzling that there are not a few "unique" rides.

It's no different than the ones at IOA. If you combined all of the ticket booths in front of IOA it's about the same length of queue. It's just that at Epic it's all one line going to multiple windows instead of multiple booths with multiple lines like IOA has.
