Thank you for this video. The flat metal plate that is under the striker and moves together, I didn’t know if it was suppose to be pressed back when closed but striker extended. I saw in this video that is shows metal plate pushed back and striker extended so thank you for that! Helpful as I couldn’t tell via instructions. 🙏

Thank you for responding, the problem was with the little metal piece below the latch. We have since figured it out
