I picked up that same hour meter for mine. I like the idea of the 3D printed mount. I'm designing stuff like that all the time. Unfortunately, I don't like that location. The very first thing I did after storing my predator in my garage, was pile a few things on top. lol. That mount puts the meter in harms way. Though I hate damaging the factory look, I think I'll screw mine into the face plate of the unit. It's going to live with the unit for the rest of its service life anyway.

Many options for sure on how to do this and I dont think one is wrong, just personal preference is all. Appreciate you stopping in and leaving a comment! Take Care

I drilled and mounted my tach/hour meter into the black plastic above the PREDATOR emboss. Where the start up, and shut down procedures sticker is. Looks totally custom sitting there. As if it was designed to be there. I'm just having trouble figuring out how to run the wire so it's invisible, like on my Honda mower.

Great video. I wonder if it keeps the hours or does it ever reset? It wouldn’t be hard to write to permanent memory but just wondering about long term performance. The hour meter on my zero turn has pooped out and this might be a good alternative.

Awesome installation. I’ve got almost every other tool but a 3-D printer. I don’t think of any viewers are going to have access to a 3-D printer. I made a project box with 2 LCD displays showing volts, amps, amp hours and watts. One for each of the two phases. It’s mounted near my innerlock near my main panel. I also threw in one of these our meters on the project box. Works great. A 3-D printer would’ve been awesome for making my project box but I found a standard size one that works fine and cost $15. Great job on yours

Great video. I bought the Predator 8750 several years ago and luckily haven't needed it yet. Its still in the original box....lol. Actually I didn't pay attention that it has no hour meter especially since its still in the box. At the time of purchase this was the biggest Harbor Freight had in stock. I like the idea of having an hour meter on it and plan on purchasing one from Amazon in the next day or so.
