​@@optimuslibby Oh my goodness, thanks for making me feel old... ;) It was pretty cool in the 90s, much smaller, I think. I remember Jaws, Back To The Future, ET, Ghost Busters, Alfred Hitchcock, the production studio tour, Earthquake, The Bates Motel, Nickelodeon Studios and the green slime, a HUGE phone...you could actually get in the booth and the phone was taller than human height, and you could make a long distance call, for free, to anyone, which was really fun back then because nobody had cell phones. I had a camera that I had to buy film for and then have that film developed when I got home...no cell phone pics! Ack! At the time, I thought Disney World was cleaner and the cast members happier, but I can't say if that has changed at all since I haven't been to Universal since 1996. I've been to Disney World many times, however...I go to Disney at least once every 2 years and I will be back again this spring. I just can't bring myself to go to Universal when it's a 9 hours drive from my house to Orlando and I'm paying so much to visit Disney. If I ever move to Florida, though, that will change. I think, in a few years, I will be one of those annoying people who lives in Florida during the winter, and if I do that I will most likely have annual passes to all the parks and then I can compare and contrast. :)

Last and only time I’ve been to Florida was back in 2009, the fact that it’s 10 years ago this year is... strange. Shows how fast time has gone. I was born in 1996 so depending on what time of the year you went I was maybe born or yet to be. My mum went 2 times before to Florida in the 80’s, I think 86 and 88. She did road trips from North Carolina down to Florida as back then we had family out there. I’d love to go again but got a feeling it maybe still a few years yet, probably in 2/3 years.

I did went to Islands of Adventure and I rode the Seuss Trolley Train Ride during the Universal Studios Fireworks show. It was one of the coolest experiences I had at the park.

I'll never forget when I went into the prop shop once (summer 2016) and saw the flying cow from the Twister attraction. I got to touch and get a photo with it! It made my day, having seen it every time we went to Twister since I was little. It was priced at about $1000, but I heard that no-one bought it until it was reduced to $500

I'm so torn about the rumoured Jurassic Park coaster. I love the franchise and that whole area in Universal has so much space it would be excellent to have another thrill ride in place. However, I loved the tranquillity in front of the Discovery Centre. It was such a nice place to get away from the crowds and look over the lagoon. Now there is going to be a noisy roller coaster ripping through that area every 60 seconds. I can't help but feel I'm losing my special place. Very interested to see what they will come up with and how it will differ from the new HP coaster.

You *can* get to the downstairs front door of discovery center through those walls (They left a way in/out for emergency purposes. There's a bunch of cool dino murals along that wall down there as well.

been universal twice in 2012 and 2015 however always paid at the entrance, this time i am booking online to get the 3 for 2 theme park deal, wondering do you know tim or anyone else if i buy online tickets and print them, do i still need to wait in-line for actually tickets at the gate or can my paper copy be just scanned and go straight in? that question is for all 3 parks btw... thanks
