If we do get a Monsters Coaster, I hope it's something more like the Mummy or Hagrids. Heavily themed with a really cool story. The Frankenstein village idea seems ripe for a dark ride of some kind and the Creature from the Black Lagoon feels like a boat ride so maybe we get a Dracula coaster? I'm sure Ian has thoughts.

I can't wait to see The Nintendo and Universal Monsters segments. If they're close enough together, you can almost imagine that the Universal Monster area is a Castlevania themed area of Nintendo (yes, I know Castlevania is Konami but it was associated with Nintendo until Symphony Of The Night.)

The bus system isn't a good idea. I think it'd be best to build a train line between the main two parks and Epic Universe.

Universal has done stellar with their coasters lately, so I'd love to see a coaster coming instead of the rumored Monsters show. I'd love to see an indoor Frankenstein coaster! Just imagine: lightning strikes, the nearby coils light up, Dr. Frankenstein yells "IT'S ALIVE", and it zips you forward into a thrilling indoor coaster akin to (but more thrilling than) the Mummy's coaster segments. The pre-show and queue would be amazing! From the sounds of it (correct me if I'm wrong), but Epic Universe has 3 planned coasters which are all outdoors (including Donkey Kong, which is a mix of outdoor and indoor). So an indoor coaster could potentially round it out a bit.

When I was a kid I would get so excited every time we'd drive down I4 because you could see them constructing IOA. I never saw any renderings or blueprints back then so I didnt know exactly what was being built but it seemed so massive. When the coasters started rising I got so excited because at that point we didn't have any in Orlando. Such an exciting feeling imagining riding on those rides someday.

The dark ride in there sounds amazing--IIRC the rumor is it will use KUKA arm tech like Forbidden Journey, but with the balance toward practical effects rather than screen carousels, and that is just amazing.

Y'know, since its called SUPER Nintendo World, what if we were to design a park themed specifically to the greatest hits of the SNES? Now obviously there would be plenty of Super Mario to choose from (World, All-Stars, Kart, Yoshi's Island). Next, just like in Universal, would be a land themed to the Donkey Kong Country trilogy. Then we'd have a Zelda land based on A Link to the Past. StarFox would fit the role of the sci-fi Tomorrowland area. Finally, something for the adults; might be controversial, but I feel its a forgotten franchise that deserves a second look: Killer Instinct

If we are getting a coaster in the Universal Monsters area, I think a cool idea would be a Doctor Jekyll and Mister Hyde theme. It could be like SeaWorld's Ice Breaker where you go forward and backward, one direction as Jekyll and backwards as Hyde

@@nickthetrex no it isn’t. There’s more to do at WDW. Universal is just rides and it gets tiring after 1 day. I love working for the company but Disney is more relaxing, fun, and better for hanging out with friends and family for an afternoon/evening.

In attendance, maybe not. In quality? I can see that. To my mind Universal already delivers a superior overall resort experience, though some of that is that the smaller scale is just easier for guests to deal with, and going bigger with multiple locations will negate that advantage to some degree. You'll have to do some of the on-property commute planning that's involved in a Disney vacation. With luck, not quite as much. Disney's immersive theming has been superior *except* for the Wizarding World areas, where Universal has the advantage. If that's the level Universal will be playing on going forward, they're a real threat to Disney. Universal has always tried to dial the thrill level up a little higher than Disney as a kind of counterprogramming, filling the gap between Disney's lavish but family-friendly image and the big coaster parks that cater to teens, and it seems like they're sticking with that. (Harry Potter has become a problematic IP in some ways, but God knows Disney has plenty of those too.)

Hopfully the Jaws ride will make a return. I never been to Universal yet but the one attraction I know the best is the Jaws ride cuz I seen it in videos for years. Also, I don't want to fly all the way to Japan just to ride that.

Nintendo is big for universal. It will rival anything Disney does. The possibilities are endless. Mega man, Kirby, Zelda, donkey Kong, Star fox, etc etc. I really hope they leave plenty of land available for future Nintendo expansion!

If it does well enough, they may put some Nintendo in every park to help sell those park hopper tickets, like Harry Potter. I'd love to see some Nintendo in Kidzone at US, and perhaps replacing one of the disused theaters in IOA!

If we get a monsters coaster I want it to be themed to the wolf man. It could be similar to velicocoaster and we are traveling through the woods with the wolf man chasing after us. Or it could be Dracula themed. The Monsters land is one I’m most excited to see!!!
