Just want to give you a huge thank you for creating this stand. It solved my issue on my Ender 3v3 KE where the filament spool wasn’t rotating properly and thus led to under/no extrusion. So many headaches gone with a simple solution.

First, the runout sensor mount is so well designed. I have a 3V3Plus, so I printed it out, but without looking closely that the base isn't designed for this machine. But that's ok. The ball join thing printed perfectly. So I guess I'll have to just make a new base that will somehow fit the 3V3Plus. Thanks for this.

Thanks, just FYI the V3 plus mount has been available for a while here: makerworld.com/en/models/499405#profileId-415093 Hopefully you didn't spend too much time trying to make your own :)

@@EmbraceMaking Well thank you for that. As it turns out, I did in fact modify the one that I did download to make the mount fit the 3V3Plus. Honestly, the way you designed that ball part to fit inside the knuckle is amazing. It printed perfectly on the 3V3Plus, once I realized that I needed to add support for the ball part. Actually, it was CrealPrint that warned me about a "floating part." Thanks so much for this.

Have this for my v3 plus and love it. Removed all the problems with tangled filaments(during calibration). Now awaiting my K1. Debating making a different style top to be able to hold 2 spools one on each side.

Great solution, this will make changing filament on my K1 so much easier.

great product made a huge difference on my 3v3 plus and its little brother. thank you. I printed the dummy sensor but ended up breaking it when i decided to thread it to support the hotend cable and i can't find the stl to print out another so could you direct me to the file please

Thanks for the comment and review :) You can find the STL for the dummy sensor here: makerworld.com/en/models/499405#profileId-415093 check the STL files in this listing it's in there. Thanks!

Are the STLs also purchasable or free to download? I think you said they're free 😅 couldn't find them on your website though.

Your system is a very well thought out design. When I watched the installation on the Ender, I thought, what a great option for all applications, including TPU. However, with the system installation on the K1 series printers, I think that the extra length on the Bowden tube might cause problems with feeding TPU. I do realize that the locations of the filament runout sensors presents a particular challenge. For TPU, the system could be used, with the printer tops removed and just a scrap of filament pushed through the runout sensor, thus providing a straight shot from the spool holder and the extruder. Just a thought, thanks.

Thanks for the thoughtful comment! Yes the runout sensor location makes it a bit challenging on the K1 but your idea with the runout sensor defeat trick + feeding the TPU direct from above is great!

I printed out the sensor attachment but it does not seem to fit the Ender 3 v3 Plus frame ?

China make spool with two bearings, it cost few dollars.
