Super Nintendo is a brilliant idea the Universal Studios came up with and so deserving. Its appeal ranges to a wide audience, fittingly coming out of Japan across to the whole world. Many millions of people across the whole world played Super Nintendo, and it's great to see this theme created to live on for many years to come. And the Donkey Kong expansion is another brilliant idea. I have loved playing all the Donkey Kong games over a long time ago.

Nice videos guys. I was there earlier this month. This was my first ever Universal park and I absolutely loved it. I particularly liked how this park featured a lot of Japanese IP's, which you don't typically see in the west, where a lot of people probably aren't as familiar with them. The Monster Hunter restaurant was awesome. Hollywood Dream - Backdrop is an amazing ride. The layout is fine, but going through it backwards is just way too much fun. I had a sunset ride and listened to Osaka Lover. It was just a really sweet experience and definitely a highlight of the trip. I know the wait time can be rough but it's definitely worth it.

Nice vlog, really enjoyed and look forward to seeing more in future. Will watch part 2 / day 2 after commenting on this. Shame Jaws Ride and Jurassic Park boat rides were closed, was looking forward to watching them both. Hoping if Universal GB happens we get UK's very own unique versions of these attractions, be really epic additions. With Charlotte's idea, I suggested that the boat idea in lake on one of my shorts recently, but having it as a ride as if you travel from Hogsmeade across to Hogwarts Castle, think an attraction in the UK park would be epic, also hoping with our version. There is some sort of dark ride inside Hogwarts area, but not a robo arm, but something else? Having a full free walkthrough attraction where all fans & worldwide guests can climb up into castle & look round a full recreated replica. With a land featuring Hogwarts Express surrounding land / world stopping at a Diagon Alley & Kingscross, Hogsmeade, Land areas from Fantastic Beasts & in land have rides & areas featured in Hogwarts Legacy, aswell a version of Hadgrids Flying Bike coaster. There are alot of things & attractions I would love to see at Universal Great Britain if happens? Aswell alot of IP's & original rides at other UK parks & resorts. Loads of attractions types, but these are some ideas of what I would like to see so far, but nice vlog, enjoyed and now going to watch day 2. Cheers. 😀👍

All amusement parks in Japan are awesome, but Universal Studios Japan, is absolutely stunning! 🤩💯👌🏻 It was nice to see park characters like Woody and Winnie Woodpecker, Snoopy, Shrek, Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach and especially, Toad. Japan's version of Super Nintendo World looks fantastic with all theming and movement, it makes me wish that Hollywood could use something like this. 😉 I agree with you, the ride experience of Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge was very unique, with a mixture of projections, screens, practical sets and the helmets. The Flying Coaster is a spectacular B&M Flying coaster. Also, with the inversions, it’s an intense ride. 😃👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Charlotte looks cute with the shark hat. 🦈🎩😊 Congratulations to the two of you on visiting every Wizarding World of Harry Potter in the Universal Parks. 🥳👏🏻👏🏻 You know, despite having some amazing rides and attractions, Universal Studios Japan doesn’t have an end of day lagoon spectacular. If I was in charge, I could picture the show something similar to Fantasmic! (Tokyo DisneySea), CineSational (Universal Studios Florida) and HarmoniUS (Epcot). This would include pyrotechnics, water fountains, lights, laser effects, fire, projections, drones, floats and water screens with clips from various Universal films (i.e. Despicable Me, The Blues Brothers, How to Train Your Dragon, The Mummy (1932), etc.). “Please, respect the spell limit.” 🧙♂️🪄 Hollywood Dream: The Ride looks like an impressive B&M “baby” Hyper coaster, especially since it blends in with the Hollywood area. 😁👌🏻🎢 In conclusion, I hope that you and Charlotte had a terrific first day at USJ, and I can’t wait to see what’s planned for day two. 😄👍🏻👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻

So glad you finally got to see my home park! I think the pandemic hit the park quite hard as they closed some of my favourite attractions such as terminator, backdraft, spiderman and the night parade, which was one of the highlights of the park for me. The hogwarts castle walk should be reopening next month after 4 years of closure so im looking forward to that, but I've heard rumours that Jaws might be closing for good in the near future (fingers crossed it is just a rumour) so I really hope you get the chance to ride it. I got to visit nintendo world during the pandemic and that was the perfect crowd amount for the size, but it pretty much has turned into a drop off your kids area and the crowding has really put me off going into that section of the park. I hope when DK opens it will spread the crowd around a lot more so it can be as enjoyable as when it first opened. Looking forward to seeing you visit the rest of the park!

Awesome video, as always, but thank you in particular for featuring this park. As a lifelong Mario supporter/lover, it goes without saying that when I caught wind of this concept coming to life, it was instantaneously added very close to the top of my bucket list. However, my general love and affinity for anusement parks, specifically for the thrill ride accompaniment, my fascination with theme parks, while still noticeable as a kid at heart, I can imagine how much of a sensory overload this park must be. I almost want to say it’s a bit overkill, or maybe it’s just there’s so much contained in a small space, that I feel it could benefit from being spread out a bit more over a more expansive amount of real estate. Not sure if that’s in the cards for the American execution of the format, which would likely be the one I’d visit at some point, but I do hope that is the case. I absolutely see the appeal for the younger generation, especially those familiar with the franchise, and prior to me using my kids (which don’t exist yet) as an excuse to visit, I’d agree that I’d be generally more excited for the time spent here versus a Disney park, for example. Not against Disney, but as an aforementioned thrill seeker, I’ve spent my time at Universal parks more frequently as I’ve grown older, so I really think it’s just a matter of setting your expectations. All I will say, which will likely sound counterintuitive to any reader, is that I’m not a fan of crowds…especially in such confined spaces. That said, I’ll do my best to visit a park on days that wouldn’t necessarily draw crowds above average (a weekday versus a national long weekend, for example), and I’m the exact consumer they target with the ipgraddd “fast-pass” options that now seem to be ubiquitous with parks worldwide. Interestingly enough, as I type this comment while the video continues to play in the background, the pair echoed my sentiments almost identically as it pertained to the very confined space housing a surplus of theming, likely causing some claustrophobia for visitors - I promise that was my take prior to, so it’s fair to know that they corroborate thst insight I took from the video, being that they were there in the flesh. I agree too, folks, fingers crossed that the American iteration vastly improves on that one pain point. Otherwise, this literally is a Super Mario fan’s dream from what I gather, and the attention to detail in theming and overall sensory experience seems second to none, and quite apparent that no expense was spared in the build of this place. Other than the obvious, selfishly as a grown up seeming thrills, I’d love to see a more intense, adult-centric attraction as part of the Super Mario projects - be clever with it, maybe use Bowser to create something a bit more unrelenting and engaging for those looking for a more intense experience. A quick Google check to satisfy my curiosity, and it looks like the documented cost of build in Japan was North of $350 million! And I’d say money well spent, other than obvious gripes in listed from the peanut gallery. All that said, it remains on my proverbial bucket list, albeit knocked a few pegs down in favour of some of the other big-boy parks featured on the channel, and I’m okay with that. To be completely honest honest, I’ve been known to purchase more than one Nintendo system solely and primarily for the Mario-themed title that generally accompanies each launch so they know exactly what they’re doing when targeting a fan of the franchise from as young as I can remember; also, happy to report that my twin niece and nephew, only 8, are equally enthralled, or obsessed, with the franchise already and I’m a proud uncle who has zero qualms joining in on their video game quests with each and every title I ensure they have in their Switch collection. #DrusViewz

It’s still closed at the moment however the park did state it’ll be back open at some point this year!

@@ThemeParkWorldwide You'd think they'd want it open for the better weather as that's when the big crowds will come. Oh well. Fingers crossed! :)

@art3free Agree. I do think redoing the theming before the ride also. Even keep it how it is theme but needs a re do as its very slightly out dated.
