Given that Labour is desperate for some pro growth news, I would have thought they be offering Universal just about anything right now to get them to sign on the dotted line,. It could be they are waiting for the East West final plans and that French theme park and the fijnal tram scheme in Leeds, so they announce it all at once.

Bridge looks more like theyve created a dam with a pipe installed for any remaining water to pass through. maybe they will fit that section in that they cut off?

merlin will be doomed when universal opens. i worked for merlin and was a not good company to work for, i too worked for the tussauds company before it went to merlin who were a lot of a better company to work for. good thing abouts tussauds were they only had workers work 9 hours a day as had a hours break , 2% bonus of the wage you worked at the end of the season. it was just a better company. blackpool pleasure beach where i also worked was a fab company too. only grime i had were the long hours at the time but was a fab wage best in blackpool plus got a bonus to at the end of the season like tussauds did. plus blackpool pleasure beach has a club for staff on the weekend and a bar to use after one finished their shift. it was awesome and dirt cheap. i was also working on the rides at clacton pier.

no they won’t be doomed , attendance may get bigger as people who come from overseas will probably visit other theme parks and attractions while here
