This is LITERALLY what us UAFX pedal owners have been begging for since day 1…a computer interface to interact with the pedal when it’s plugged in USB. The fact that it’s very much NOT that is absolutely crushing 😢

Interesting, I've never heard of or thought of that idea. To make sure I understand correctly, you're asking for the plugging software from the pedal via USB, usable through your DAW?

I want to have a UAFX app (we already have this for updating firmware) to connect to the pedal when it's connected via USB and will give us the interface shown here to interact with the pedal by using the software interface. It would operate similar to how the software for Quad cortex, helix devices, Fractal, etc work with the physical devices. The ox box works the same way with desktop software.

How do you recommend inserting Delay Reverbs and chorus in the chain. Just in series before the plug-in? Or a on separate DAW channel? Can you route into the cab only and by pass the amp section?

I’m happy this finally happened but… UA Pedal owners should get the Plugin that they own for free… or at least a code for heavy discount. A $400 pedal investment should include a golden ticket to open the Unison version of the plugin in Luna for free… and also control the pedal directly from the DAW!

I feel like this ostracizes me as someone who is invested in the uafx amp modeler pedals…. I’ve built my studio guitar rig around them! If this could be also used to control the pedal and recall settings on the pedal while recording that would be something special! But as it is right now it’s just a cheaper way to get the same thing. Which only deters me from buying further pedals if it will just be a VST in a few months.

that was to be expected. yes the demos of the pedal were convincing, but investing in several pedals to have all the amps, while clearly they all ran on the same hardware.... since they were digital they were bound to be released as plugins sooner or later

I would buy this but it looks like poor value compared to Neural, even at the "introductory" price. I buy Neural when they have one of their regular sales, & they are half this intro price.
