My friend B H Clendennen said Bishop Washington was one of the greatest preachers to ever pick up a Bible. I made it a point when in NYC to go to Brooklyn and attend a service!

In September 1969, my Aunt Ursuline Hazel took me to this great church. She said he was one of the greatest preachers of our time. I know Pastor Madison who is a great man of God. My neighbors attend Washington Temple. Elder Madison and his wife served faithfully under Bishop Washington.

Praise The Name of Our Lord Jesus Christ, I was raised in Brooklyn, NY and used to visit and worship with the saints at Washington Temple while in membership at The Greater Bibleway Temple in Brooklyn.. Is it indeed closed? It was such a landmark.
