Praise God...This blessed my whole intelect. That's why I love my roots from The Grand ole' Church of God in Christ.

Wow I could feel the presence of God. Indeed it was a homegoing of a great man of God, the founder of the COGIC, Bishop CH Mason. "well done and welcome home Bishop" As saints sung the song it was as if angels were singing. Bishop OT Jones Sr was indeed an anointed servant of God as well and worked hand in hand with the Great Bishop CH Mason. Indeed the COGIC started under a firm foundation of the Holy Spirit. May God bless this great Church and may the soul of all the late presiding bishops rest in eternal peace (Bishop JO Patterson Sr, Bishop LH Ford, Bishop CD Owens and Bishop GE Patterson). My prayers are also with the current presiding Bishop CE Blake.

When Bishop Jones and the saints started singing “well done “ it really felt as if it was not saints singing, yet it was angels echoing Jesus telling Bishop Mason “Well Done, Charles. Now enter thou to My Joy”

That was a great message about Bishop Mason. To hear his passion for preaching on the streets and his prayer life is just awesome.

If only there’s a presiding bishop who deserves a homegoing as grand as Bishop Mason’s . Well Bishop Ford deserved one as he tried to return the saints to what COGIC is supposed to be ..

We don’t hear to much about Bishop OT Jones Sr. We have to bring his name back up in the history books of our church. And recognize that he did lead the church for a good 5-6 years. I recommend we publicly honor him and have his picture up in Mason temple.

I assume it's the late Superintendent Samuel Patterson on the organ as he was the first organists when the original organ was installed in mason Temple.

mrtheoneandonly 83 was it a Hammond or pipe organ???

Sounds like a Hammond with Tone cabinet external speakers. You can hear the organist switching between the Vibrato #3 and chorus options.

@ericgreer52797 жыл бұрын
It's a Hammond. Listen to the introduction. They're probably using the "Reed" preset. Then they switch to the draw bars once the singing.
