This is the most frustratingly absurd movie I've ever watched. Every character is absolutely incompetent, and they make the most incomprehensibly irrational decisions at every turn. Just count how many instances you can see in less than 10 minutes: 0:18 You just walked into the scene of a massacre. Whoever or whatever committed it is likely still around, and you tell your small daughters to GO WALK AROUND??? 0:56 So now you know there's a killer lion on the loose. There's no one left alive. WHY ARE YOU STILL THERE? Why are you two taking your sweet time chatting in the murder scene while the children walk out there rather than going for them, running to the car, and fleeing for your lives? 4:00 There's an injured man, and this man-eating lion which you know just killed an entire community is clearly nearby. Why are you going to try to kill it ALONE, and while leaving children, a critically injured person, and an unarmed man defenseless behind? Take the injured guy, drive him to a hospital as fast as you can, gather other armed men to assist you, and THEN come back to kill the lion! 4:10 You were just told to get back to the car, WHY ARE YOU NOT GETTING BACK TO THE CAR? Why do you decide to give first aid to the injured man ON THE ROAD, with the lion in the vicinity, rather than taking him to the car with you? 6:22 You just saw some enormous crocodiles getting into the water, and you decide to get into the water with them? And while you also come dangerously close to a lion whom you can't see? 7:18 There was a shot. Martin has evidently found the lion. WHY ARE YOU GOING THERE? If Martin killed the lion, just wait for him in the car to come back. If the lion killed Martin, what do you think you're going to do by going there unarmed? 7:53 AND NOW YOU'RE GETTING OUT OF THE CAR TOO?
