A few years ago, I found a meditation on KZbin. It was my favorite and I did it daily. One evening, while doing this, I felt this unraveling sensation go up my back and I morphed into an Egyptian woman wearing a headdress with live snakes coming it. It felt unbelievably real! It scared me so much that I stopped meditating and started praying. That night, I googled for hours trying to figure out what happened to me. I stumbled across Kundalini and thought it was ironic because that was the name on that youtube video. It was the craziest experience I've ever had in my life.

Great video. I interpret the Red Dragon of Revelation to be untamed Kundalini. The Serpent fell in the Garden before Eve and Adam did, and I think this points to the Fall of Kundalini Shakti from her original abode in Swaddhistana chakra into Muldadhara. The Serpent in Genesis is also said to be 'subtle', and I think that is referring to the fact that Kundalini is a subtle energy like the subtle body. Actually, it can be argued that the entite Book of Revelation is about the path of Kundalini ascent, with each of the 7 Churches being the 7 chakras.

I was on a soul retrieval journal meditating in the gardens on land my family acquired with 3.5 acres of ponds, snakes and frogs everywhere. They would come and lay in the garden basking in the sun with me. They were beautiful very colorful. They were not venomous. I had the most amazing spiritual experiences on this land, guidance to my lost cell phone on 40 acres when it overheated and shut down and the ground vibrated guiding me. I was fasting more and also did a lot of inner child healing work. I was also exploring my creativity writing, piano and singing. I was guided intuitively one day to plant 200 tulip bulbs at the onset of winter. No one plants that time of year. I connected with Mother Earth and my heart broke for what we do to her. I had my kundalini awakening the evening of my tulip planting session. I met the air dragon twice those 2 weeks post awakening. I am a practicing Christian so I had no idea what kundalini was. It took me 3 Priests, a couple nuns before I found a Spiritual Director in another state who wrote a book on kundalini and Christianity. I did a DNA test years later and discovered I have a small % of Eastern India. I then learned about the nagas, ponds and snakes and it all made perfect sense. I also learned about the Sacred Secretion and how birth of Christ story is about this alchemical process in our bodies. Christ being born and lifted on the tree mirrors this energy being awakened and lifted on the spine like Moses lifted the staff with serpents to heal the people. I reverse engineered when it occurred and the moon was in my sun sign when this occurred. I have not fully raised the energy but now that my intellect is satisfied I am ready to go back in. 😂

Note that if you look at Bradford KEENEY's works "Bushman SHAMAN" and "Sacred Ecstatics" you will note how he describes how apparently the Kundalini energy was discovered essentially independently in the SHAMANic traditions of the Kalahari peoples in far southern Africa, a quarter of the globe away from India. In this context, Kundalini, there called _n/om_ energy in one tradition (the "/" refers to a click consonant, a sound not used in pretty much any languages outside this region; I am not sure how to pronounce that particular one), serves as the "motor" which powers the Shamanic journey. The *SHAMAN* rises Kundalini from its resting place down around the pit of the gut up through the top of the head and then carries their awareness out and into the Spirit realm (essentially induced NDE). Note also that hallucinogens are used in their practice as well, though typically I believe as a "training wheel" of sorts for apprentice SHAMANs, until they can initiate the process without them. (Note on that "pit of the gut" bit: some practitioners might go "what?" at that because they think Kundalini is coiled around the spine; but actually I have heard that in more traditional Yogas the _Sushumna_ channel, and its associated chakras, should actually be understood as a purely nonphysical channel that essentially approximates the central axis of the body; it runs from the perineum up to the tip of the head, and not just a spiritualized version of the spine. Chakra _Manipura_ or "city of gems" is not in the solar plexus but instead at the gut; hence with Kundalini at rest, the "snake" has her "head" at gut level. This also seems more logical since a lot of our strongest emotion is felt in our gut. Of course the "energy" is some mixture between psychological, physical, and spiritual effects so that subjectively one may feel its movement in many ways.)

My spiritual awakening came about in early 2023 after I had cleared my root chakra and opened my first eye (3rd). By far the most profound for me was my Kundalini Awakening experience which just happened in September 2024. I’m still in a state of shock and learning to adapt to this tremendous shift in my body and life. The really eerie thing is two nights before it happened I saw the apparition of a bald man staring down at me over my large screen tv. Two days after my Kundalini experience I found this channel via another Kundalini video. Every hair on my body stood up when I saw the owner of this channel. It all clicked and had a feeling of shock and inexplicable knowing. Truly, I’ve been in shock ever since and now is the first time I’ve ever mentioned this ever. Wow, thank you for such an interesting podcast. I took so much from it. My belief system is close to the Buddhist and Daoist thought. But I also dabbled in Russian folklore of Pagan origin and there is a lot of lore relating to the Serpent there as well. I have been reading the Buddhist Sutta Nipata (a collection of suttas) and the first one is called the Serpent Sutra. Leaving behind the states of mind such as Greed, Hate, Lust, Delusion, and Attachment is compared poetically to a serpent shedding its "worn-out skin". I agree that at the core of every spiritual experience lies your own mind or Altered State of consciousness. Inducing Altered states with venoms, and plants has been a widespread shamanic practice. But it has to be treated with respect. It has to be done with purification, fasting, and having a "genuine cause" for the trip as a life-changing experience. The sincerity of the seeker is the key. Otherwise, it can backfire. Some people get attached to such altered states, which is not good. The Buddha teaches that at the core of every phenomenon is your own mind. Treat it with care.

Seen it, been it, in 1982, when traveling 8 months in Ladack and Kashmir. Never dared to talk about it, never dared to meditate again. In Ladack came bliss after weeks of solitairy meditation in Gotsangpa, but after that in Pahalgam came the spontaneous asanas and the ouroburos and the void and the K. and the popping of the lotus and beyond into the cosmos. I didn’t know and didn’t prepare and had no guru. Altered my understandings and unsettled the rest of my life. Never dared to meditate again but sought distractions and avoiding most people. Is there an other beyond ?

Is there a significance to the number of serpent hoods arcing over the statue/linga? In some there are 5 and some like the one at 22:17 have 7. Is it to indicate the centers from which the kundalini shakti is currently operating from in that being or the way in which the prana pratishta of that linga/statue was set up? When my father was born, my grandmother used to take him to the fields and put him to sleep in a swing made of a sari on a tree. She used to help my grandfather in farming. When she returned, she saw that my father was surrounded by snakes but no one had harmed the child. After that, there was a lot of commotion. Everyone got up with sticks and started killing the snakes. Our relatives told us that snakes used to come and sit near my father, whether in the house or in the fields. Out of fear, my grandparents left the village and started living in the nearby city. But these incidents reduced but did not end. Two or three snakes were seen in the house every month. My grandfather also got tired of killing snakes. He talked to someone about it and told that he should not have killed the snake. He was asked to go to the Shiva temple and apologize. My grandfather did the same. Since then, it has ended, but sometimes, once a year, we see a snake. My sisters and I scream so loudly that the whole neighborhood gathers. Then the snake catcher is called. Just thinking about a snake makes prickles rise in the body

Wow, archangel Michael could actually be a bad thing. That was new to me. True, the snake as symbolizing kundalini is a good thing as I see it. Pharaohs in ancient Egypt have a snake coming out of their forehead, which I interpret as kundalini having been risen. And statues of Shiva often have a snake outside of him, meaning kundalini fully risen I believe. Jesus will return in a robe dipped in blood, again risen kundalini is my esoteric interpretation (red = root chakra).

I can make a strong argument that the Archangels are actual the Grahas and Michael is actually who we call 'Mangal'. Also, considering the Book of Revelation as a whole, the RED Dragon is more than likely UNTAMED Kundalini as Kundalini Shakti powers everything indiscriminately, and that is why various purification practices are of paramount importance before attempting to awaken her. This also why the Devas and Asuras churning the ocean made poison come out.

I was thinking maybe there are ways to use the medicines appropriately up to a point to prepare the individual, e.g. make them more open and less rigid, or reduce the mental chatter a little bit, or eliminate physical toxins in the body (as with ayahuasca). And once that has been achieved, put aside the medicines and practice the base methods and techniques without the use of any medicines.

​@Corteum hello brother, or sister. I have a lot of insights regarding this topic, it is very deep and many different people have different perspectives. One thing that I want to say is, yes absolutely the medicine of our natural world is there to assist us awakening, with kundalini and other ways. It is there to guide us. The yogic traditions seem to not use them as much though. They have cultivated a science of yoga which is truly a teaching of God. But what I see now, this is the most interesting part is that humans are not just awakening at this time but ASCENDING. All ascending humans will have full blown kundalini awakening. When the kundalini is awakened you remember your past lives. You remember your path, the wisdom of your soul and for many incarnations you went through the earth school to evolve into a perfect being. The perfected version of you is what you will ascend with. Your last incarnation on earth, as the old world dies and the new one is born. In many of your incarnations you sat with the medicine, you were a shaman, a priest or priestess, medicine man etc. So when the kundalini awakens, you will remember all the wisdom that you learned from your past lives, whether it was with medicine or not. Medicine is there to assist you in remembering your true self, your higher self, your core frequency. I feel at this time of earth, at this time of massive awakening that medicine is very useful and very important. We need it. Humans need it to remember and to activate their DNA. One has to choose their own path together with the higher self, what medicine to sit with, what meditation practices that work the best and so on. We do not have to awaken the same way that the yogic teachings say, we need to use ALL traditions, the wisdom within all traditions of healing and remembrance. This is the new earth people. Fully united with all of our wisdom. In my personal journey I had a full blown kundalini awakening while sitting with Hawaiian baby woodrose LSA seeds. The seeds didn't awaken me, they put me in a deep meditative state, which in turn awakened the kundalini. I have practiced kundalini for many lifetimes and therefor my soul knew what to do, I didn't have to do anything. It was easy for me, in this life time. But for many it is NOT easy and they need a lot of practice and guidance. Discipline. Each soul has their own path. The kundalini is magical and beautiful, but can also be frightening and dark. You have the face all darkness and fear within your own psyche and within the world. It's super intense honestly. I did it on my own. Took me 10 years to master and I'm still learning. You can use psychedelics or any boost in stimulation to feel the experience full forth. Then as we withdraw, we learn to capture those sensations in the brain and connect with them to access them without the drugs.

so how to you understand the story of Indra killing the serpent? as the snake/dragon is the Mother in the Marduk vs. Tiamat Babylonian myth, it seems an especially violent story of 'hero/male god domination' over the feminine/ 'chaos'. I know this story occurs across Indo-European cultures: Thor vs. Jörmungadr (Norse), Zeus vs. Typhon (Greek), etc., as well as in the bible: Yahweh vs. Leviathan/ Rahab (Jewish). and of course there are later versions such as 'St. George and the Dragon'. at an emotional level all these stories are deeply upsetting to me, even though the 'dragon' is portrayed as a menace to humans- but is it/ she really? or are these ancient stories about the male need to impose 'control' and 'order' over that which they feel terrified by, and to then frame their killing as 'heroic'?
