The art on these is honestly better than the stranger things in my opinion! Really glad I didn't buy that or the street fighter now if they are going to have such great art in the future (nothing against the SF drop, just never played)

I think Elmar and Bjorna work well together intentionally since their stranger things counterparts are a couple in the show.

If you're already going on a heavy token theme with Academy Manufactor, I like the idea of matching it up with Fae Offering, where you'd then get three of each. I have this in my Chatterfang deck, which ideally also makes nine squirrels 🙃

The correct “set” name for all of these types of cards are “Universes within.” FYI.

Honestly, i am still working to make my "alchemist theme" deck with these guys work. Basically most of the cards hunt for the "reagents" (clues, treasures, foods) and then I burn the reagents for win-con spells or animate them for bonus laughs. The recent Temur commander deck plays closely to this theme as well.

Why stop at just clues? I'm trying to work this combo to create as many treasure, clue, and food tokens as possible to not only use as spell material for threats but to also animate. Temur gives access to Brudiclad, Lonis, and Adrix and Nev. I feel like there's more options to explore, but don't know the cards to do so....

Can you run Bjorna with Lucas? Since they both have friends forever and have different names? You could goad two creatures per turn.

They are considered as two copies of same cards rule-wise, so no.

Nope. They count as the same card, so you can only have 4 copies of any combination in total.

No. Look at the “= SLD ###” in the copyright information. That means that despite having a different name, it’s the exact same as the card from the set SLD with that collector number (in this case the Stranger Things version of the card)

I'm glad that they decided to add the secret lair cards to set releases, my only issue is that it isn't like I'm reading a brand new card which sucks. I guess I'm one of those people who can't be pleased

Shoutouts to the cards all being from Innistrad... it really makes the Friends Forever mechanic feel more flavorful considering they all are in the same setting and are apparently in extraneous circumstances that allow for them to be friends
