It was great to see Korean Mineral Spring, Yaksuteoo. I took water from that, so I wanted to camp to cook with that water. But it was not easy to find camping spot and also it was scary to cycle on roads. Still it's not easy to deal about camping and cycling next to the road

시골에 있는 경로당은 단순히 매일 가서 노는 것 외에 여름엔 더위 대피소, 겨울엔 동네 노인들이 모여서 아예 숙식하는 곳이기도 합니다. 연료비를 절약하고 식비도 절약하고...어울려삽니다. 우리나라에만 있는 대단히 좋은 제도입니다.

I'm wondering, when you came across that first potential site, where there were other campers but a sign saying "no camping", could you have asked them for other potential sites? They might be locals. Also, is there any Korean social media platform for bike touring that might host discussions about possible places to stay? I'm just wondering if there are ways of shortcutting the whole wandering-in-the-dark to find a place for the night.

진짜 자전거 여행할때 차가 무서운거 같아요. 국토 해안가를 자전거로 지인들과 함께 돌다가 지인들은 제주도에서 인천으로 배타고 가버리고, 저는 남해 한바퀴 돌아보고 목포에서 멈췄네요. 공사차량들이 지나갈때마다 너무 무서웠거든요. 진님의 여행을 응원 합니다! 양평 다녀오니까 참 좋더라고요. 저도 올해는 자전거를 더 많이 타려고 합니다. ^^

맞습니다!!! 특히 지독한 사체 썩는 냄새... 그 냄새가 나면, 어딘가 지금 동물 사체가 있구나 짐작하고, 숨 최대한 참고 지나갑니다. 뉴질랜드에서 특히 로드킬한 동물을 많이 봤었던 게 기억나네요

Wonderful video as always. In 2019 I cycled Seoul to Busan on the 4 Rivers route - a fantastic cycle with the huge benefit that I could (mostly) avoid those horrible stretches of high traffic road. I hope that next time I visit Korea I'll be able to speak a little of the language, it makes travel far more rewarding.

Just for your health. I couldn't tell what exactly was wrong with your thumb. But I had similar issues of dry skin on my fingers which were exasperated using red liquid soaps in rest rooms. When I stopped using the soap, I applied Vaseline to my finger tips at night and put on a rubber glove, In a week or two they healed and have never had the problem come back.

셜리 사려고 하는 매장에 물어보세요. 50 사이즈 타도 큰 문제 없겠지만, 중요한건 인심이나 팔길이등에 따라서 달라질꺼에요. 여행용 많이 길게 다니시려면 Disc Trucker 제품을 사는게 무난해요. 그래도 새거 사서 빌딩하신다면, 디자인이 맘에 드는 제품을 사시는게 좋습니다. 국내 여행만 하시려면 굳이 투어링을 살 필요는가 없다고 생각하지만요. 투어링 구입 하시려면 진짜 많이 알아보고 구입하셔야 편하게 다니실 수 있을 꺼에요.

제품디자인 전공이라 모형(목업)을 만들때 칼로 베이거나 띠톱에 쓸려서 지혈이 안될때 응급처치로 순간접착제를 사용했습니다. ㅎㅎ 의료용은 아니구요 일반 순간접착제 인데 그렇게 사용해도 별탈 없었던거 같아요.. ^^

@@universewithme I just use ordinary superglue which helps heaps but I understand some people may not want to try that. But I think there may also be a medical grade glue or similar. Superglue is cheap and easy to get.

If my finger splits I cover the split with the glue, let it dry and then if the glue or skin is rough I file it down with a nail file or similar. It protects the split and stops it catching or splitting more as it heals. I didn't want to recommend it as I am not a medical professional but it works for me!
