If you want a college degree, but don't want to spend a fortune on tuition, and want to graduate faster... Degree Hacking is the fastest, most affordable way to earn a college degree.
What is Degree Hacking?
Degree Hacking is a simple step by step process that can help you earn an entire Bachelor’s Degree in as little as 6 Months. The process teaches you how to graduate WITHOUT textbooks homework, quizzes, group projects, lesson plans, study guides and more…
Who is Ryan Swayt?
I was a 2 time college dropout working a $12 an hour job, with a family to support. I was desperate for a better future. Long story short, I found a better way. I earned an entire Bachelor’s Degree in just 9 months and found a career I love. This process has changed my life, now I want to teach others how to do the same.

They are right in saying it takes 4 years to complete. If you take your reccomended courses per term, and do that consistenty without taking lots of leave of absence. Then it will take exactly 4 years. I took couple more courses over the years, so it took me around 3.5 years.

I also hope that you are aware that almost 80% of their students are all studying on scholarship. If someone completes 120 credits in less than two years, then, what would that person really masters? In fact, best performing students don't stay for four years before graduation because they can register up to 9 credit hours per Term. I suggest you make more intensive research about the institution before shooting these kind of videos.
@9monthcollegegrad-ryansway671

9 credit hours per term doesn't entice me at all. I prefer schools that have no cap on credits per term. I earned over 70 credits my first term at a school that's actually Regionally Accredited. I paid $200 out of pocket. I get that what U of the People saves you money compared to the traditional path... but there are faster, cheaper paths than U of the People. I understand, they offer scholarships, but every Regionally Accredited school offers far more scholarships. It's so much easier to get funding for Regionally Accredited schools.

Note: it's not a hoax, per se. It's TUITION-FREE, yes, but of course there are course fees. Important thing to clarify. Altogether, substantially cheaper than conventional college - I think it's a great bonus, and am skeptical of colleges that offer degrees in much shorter time frames, but that's just me talking. As for the rest of the video, I think you're pretty spot on (I've taken several courses by this point). I wholeheartedly agree that they need a lot more majors/degrees. I'd really prefer a History or English degree - something in Humanities; guess we'll have to wait and see? Their volunteer instructors only require a Bachelor's degree to "teach" and they don't exactly do that, anyway, although it should be noted that not much about this school is regular! On the whole, for me, the "jury's out" but I'll keep plugging along and see what I think as I go.

Thanks for the comment. You're absolutely right, not everyone studies in college to get better jobs. There are a small percentage that just want to learn. My argument there is that most of the curriculum taught by Universities is at least 5 years old before it can even be approved to be taught in schools.. So I generally look to other sources for education. Having said that, maybe U of the People can't get accredited because they've gone rogue with their curriculum and they're actually teaching good stuff. Keep us posted on that. For the majority of students trying to find meaningful employment, definitely not the best school for that.

You completely gloss over the fact that they are going through the regional accreditation process in the Fall of 2024 and have already been given candidate status from that accrediting entity which means they meet the minimum requirements for accreditation. Also, the US federal government did away with distinctions between national vs. regional accreditation. The university has recently been selected to join the Federal Academic Alliance (FAA) and provide current federal employees with affordable, quality higher education opportunities. Report on all of the facts.

They've been going through it for like 15 years. I'll believe it when I see it. It was supposed to be 2020, then 21, then 22, then 23, now 2024. They've been saying it for years. Unfortunately when the government changes the fine print, people don't listen. Nationally accredited credits still are far more difficult to transfer into reputable schools. @@heartgolden2173 For most students, there are faster + cheaper ways to earn better degrees. If it's not too late, shoot me an email with what you're looking for and a little more detail about your situation. I'm happy to give my thoughts, and even suggest better paths if there are better solutions. (ryan@9monthgrad.com)

funny enough I got a scholarship in 2019 and renew it every year and this June i am graduating. just wrote my final exam and i have a friend who graducated last year and working already with the degree. for a fact many people are not ready for the truth or ready to really learn. the school is nothing like what you have seen before, just be ready to put in the work.
