I think he was more directly referring to the fight against Krew in Jak II. Mizo in his Blitz disguise openly confronted Jak about how he left Krew to die in that explosion while Raine was present to drive a wedge between them.

I can see why they've been struggling to think up a new jak game. I reckon it's because andy gavin and Jason rubin left naughty dog and they were pretty much the creators of jak and daxter (as well as the founders of naughty dog) thankfully they're fairly easy to get in touch with since they have twitter pages. who knows they might return to ND but I don't know how likely that is.
