Not to be a total nerd, but it's revealed later in the game that the only reason Rogue Squadron and the Alliance were able to complete all these missions is that the Emperor was intentionally trying to lure the Rebels into a false sense of security so that they would fall for the trap over Endor that we see in RotJ.

Yeah they wanted to make the gameplay diverse but i think the studio was more well-versed in flight and vehicle simulation rather than on-foot shooters lol

What i would have love to see in this game is being able to get off - on from vehicles. Seein level like this where he starts on foot then get on, i know it would be posible. The reason why is to see onfoot gameplay in more open spaces because most of the onfoot combat in this game are too small sections.

As fun as this one is, one glaring continuity issue with the previous level always bugged me: Hobbie and Major Derlin are supposed to be with you but it looks like only the scientists are there to follow you when you're in the walker. Then all of a sudden Derlin reappears on the blockade runner. Felt a bit sloppy to me (unless you want to assume they landed somewhere else and caught up with you off-screen during the escape).
