I must say, I prefer this game's design for the Imperial Storm Commandos over the original design. The original was just a recolored Stormtrooper. This design makes them seem more important, unique and elite.

I can imagine back in 2003, casual fans would think Tycho Celchu was a new character, but avid comic readers would be creaming themselves seeing him. In the Legends comics and novels, Tycho was an ace pilot who was later discovered to be Force-sensitive, becoming an early member of Luke’s New Jedi Order.

@@BSKDAEMON maybe a bit of a mandela effect but besides the bad ending I remember an ending in which they all manage to escape. As far as I know it occurred when you destroyed a few tie-bombers alongside the 2 imperial ATP's at the end but again might be a bit of brain wuz cuz there is a bad ending in which the entire fleet is destroyed so maybe thats just the culprit ^^

I was disappointed with this game. There's just too much of the on-foot crap. I don't mind the occasional ground vehicle level, but I expected a Rogue Squadron game to be a flying shooter like the first two.

I think they were trying to be more creative and incorporate some of their ideas they used in Naboo.

@@Seriona1 I think less of that, more like Episode I: Racer. Those swoop bikes handle and move a lot like the pod racers did, even across N64 and GameCube. More likely they were looking at games like Driver II and you had to physically get out and move to another vehicle. Driver 2 came out the year before and Driver 3 came out the same year.

yeah me too i loved this game as a kid more than rogue leader but when i got i realize how disappointing the game was like and that cut to black transition in certain cutscenes is annoying why would that be in a game released in 2003 and chris cox does not do a good job at voicing wedge unlike dennis lawson and the story is all over the place the movie scenes are too dark and not much dialogue in those and frame rate issues and it felt like they put the multiplayer first over single player
