Cool vid , what I came up with is that I use plex in the background for recording (since you have to option to record to certain folders & commercial skip) then use Emby for main viewing. Live TV & media, etc. Please look into the plugin options on emby, IPTV , and ebooks these I can never get to work. Thanks for your time.

Just a tip for you... there are no emby 4.0 videos yet online, so you could use some 5min clip to get lots of traffic quick.

Around 4:20, was I the only one yelling, "Nobody puts 'Unky' in the corner!"? I'm running the Emby media scan on my unRAID box right now, in parallel with Plex, let's see how this thing works!

Emby is fine if you watch on a computer or a TV. But if you want to watch it on an Android Device Audio an Video ist out of sync if you are using bluetooth headset or speaker.

Fix match on Plex is on my naughty list. I had to postpone my Emby test until tonight, but so far from your experience it’s looking like a good move. I like the dashboard. Do you prefer the install on a VM or bare metal? Thanks for the video.

Well as a VM you can move it around and I think that is a plus :) I am running bare metal on Windows and under Xpenology as an app.
