Crazy no one gave this man the gospel. We aren’t saved by trying hard or begging God to forgive us. Salvation is a free gift purchased for us by the blood of Jesus. We are saved by grace through faith and that not of ourselves it is the gift of God. He literally calls it a free gift and the only thing required to receive it is believing He did it for you. And it is a fact He did it for all of us. “ God so loved the world He gave His only Son and WHOEVER believes/ trusts in Him will not perish but have eternal life”. Literally that simple. But Satan has been twisting Gods word from the beginning and a lot of folks have fallen for it. Repenting of sins is not required and making Jesus Lord is not required. If man is required to do something or to stop doing something then salvation is conditional and can no longer be considered a free gift. “ therefore being justified by faith we have peace with God” Faith alone in Christ alone apart from ANYTHING else. Simply believe and you are saved

“And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”” Matthew 25:46 NKJV Very clear Scripture that indicates that there IS indeed an eternal dwelling place where humans are punished forever. The existence of an eternal hell in the sense of eternal suffering in specific place is very real, this is why we as believers MUST preach the gospel of Jesus Christ so that all would come to know Him!

The “wages of sin is death”, not eternal torture. Words like “perish”, “consumed”, “destroyed”, and “second death” are used of those who are cast into the fire
@LoveTh0ughts Жыл бұрын
@@unlearnthelies As you read the gospels, you will find that Jesus is constantly preaching about the horror of hell, and to therefore repent and believe the gospel. Take a look at this verse: “If your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter into life maimed, rather than having two hands, to go to hell, into the fire that shall never be quenched-” Mark 9:43 NKJV. If hell from your perspective is essentially just eternal death and annihilation, based on that logic, we must ask the question, "Why is it better to have one hand in heaven than two hands in hell?" Another point, when Jesus was speaking of the son of perdition (Judas) He said, "It would have been better for that man to have never been born." Why is that true if after death there is simply no more anything? Is not being born better than death? Therefore, the logical conclusion is thus, there is an eternal dwelling place for those who have rejected God by sinning against Him, there will be weeping and nashing of teeth and eternal punishment. This is the truth of Scripture, though it is a touchy subject, we must submit to the authority of God's word. Because this is true, we therefore must preach the gospel to every creature in hopes that they would be reconciled to God through the life, death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

That idea is necessary, because we know God can cause things that have perished to return (resurrection). The lake of fire is his way of telling us regardless of my abilities those assigned to this death will not return. This make sense since Rev 21:4 says death will be no more. Fact check me please.

It doesn't say unforgivable but "will not be forgiven in this age or the next." However, the apostle Paul spoke of the ages to come. Meaning, at his time there were at least two more coming ages, at minimum. Please realize, their is no word int he original Hebrew or Greek that means forever. In additon, regardless of what this man says on this video. God destroys his enemies by ultimately reconciling them to Himself. This is His plan of the ages which includes the use of His overcomers of this present wicked age (the firstfruits), who will be kings, priest, and rule the nations with Him. For he must reign (not forever) but til he has subjected all enemies to Himself. Then, He hands the kingdom over to the Father and God will be all and in all. This is the truly good news (gospel). @@boltingpuppies let look as a literal translation of that verse. This is from Young’s Literal translation “but whoever may speak evil in regard to the Holy Spirit hath not forgiveness -- to the age, but is in danger of age-during judgment;' Simply put , instead of ruling the nations, being priest, sitting on thrones and judging the world with Christ in the coming age, they will be ruled and judged. But even this will end as do all ages. When will this end? I Cor 15 :24 Then comes the end, when He delivers the kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power. 25For He must reign till He has put all enemies under His feet. 26The last enemy that will be destroyed is death. 27For “He has put all things under His feet.” But when He says “all things are put under Him,” it is evident that He who put all things under Him is excepted. 28Now when all things are made subject to Him, then the Son Himself will also be subject to Him who put all things under Him, that God may be all in all.

The idea that God will fry people that did not believe is against the gospel which means “Good news”, and the good news being you have been forgiven and can through faith become child of God and live in abundance, joy and peace. It’s about living in the understanding of the finished work of Christ. That is why the Bible says that we are ministers of reconciliation and not manipulators that push the turn or burn message.. He came to give life in abundance here on earth, if one understands this they can lead a good, joyful, victorious life and help others do the same. we would have to throw out most of Roman’s.. @@RobbieParlane I agree. And the doctrine turns many people away. There are some soft versions of hell, where it's an eternal low conscious state of separation from God. I reject that too, as I don't think the scriptures support immortality of the soul. But also, the options are life and death. If eternal life is the reward, the opposite is eternal death, a state of nonexistence in any form. This makes more sense to me. The doctrine of hell as popular belief, has been the easiest doctrine for me to debunk. All you need to do is look at the original words, and understand what the wages of sin are.

I knew in my heart that what i had read in scripture was right, especially the parts about Christ's second coming. Why would God allow some of us to go to hell, have ni way to repent and accept him, and then be judged again to be sent back? It makes no sense. I believe both Dante's inferno and Calvinist teachings contributed to the contemporary beliefs of Hell and eternal damnation upon death as a means of social control. Its sad so many Christians fail to read and truly understand what scripture says, historical background included.
