It is not that simple, as much is lost in the translation unless the Holy Spirit is a part of them and living and speaks to them. As such does revel the truth without the biases of the person reading the book. There are many that think such is alive in them, but it is just a part of the ways that they have been taught in the past. Good example is those that use the Good Book to say that others are not worthy of life when it is us that is against their system of beliefs. This is seen when Jesus brought in a woman with a bad past, and said that who is without sin to throw the first stone, yet many overlook this today. There are far too many that accuse the victims of crimes instead of the one that actually committed the crime against the victim. This is my personal gripe against this and other countries that support criminal behaviors of people by the rule of law.

This argument always comes down to one thing for me and that’s true faith and empirical data! 1. If one buys food from the grocery store I can say without equivocation there isn’t a Torah argument justification. 2. Chief Rabbi Ovadia Yosef was compelled to issue a statement advising people to wash vegetables by hand rather than consume “kosher” packaged vegetables which have been subjected to heavy pesticide use. We know that pesticides, herbicides, fungicides and petrochemicals are not Torah observant. Yet we see no conversation on it. 3. GMO foods are Kashrut approved. Yet the animals I grow and raise are heritage breed and are most definitely Non-GMO. I don’t see the articulation of GMO animals feed GMO feed on pesticides, herbicides, fungicides and petrochemicals feed is somehow more better in any attribute then say a 100% organic pasture raised, non-GMO, non-medicated, non-hormone all the hashtags rabbit for example. 4. According with Kashrut cooking meat in butter is forbidden by Torah. Any articulation would be great. 5. According to Kashrut any meat that cannot be served on any plate that has every had dairy (butter). I don’t believe I have any dishes that hasn’t touched any cheese, butter or other dairy Again please explain and articulation the efficacy or religious basis. 6. According to Kashrut there is not a Consensus of months religious leaders on what birds are considered Koser. Are chickens, quail, turkeys, duck really koser? Are swan, geese, pigeon Koser if not please articulate. 7. Pikuach nefesh: Chapter 82a of Tractate Yoma mentions pregnancy cravings for non-kosher food (the passage discusses a pregnant woman who craves pork on Yom Kippur) as the paradigmatic example of a presumed life-threatening situation where a person is allowed to eat non-kosher food (and is permitted to eat it on Yom Kippur). If a pregnant women craving port is acceptable by Jewish law as prescribed by Pikuach nefeshn how is my depending on my ability to grow my own organic, none pesticides, herbicides, petrochemical, organic, non-GMO food not authorized by Pikuach nefesh. Any articulation would be great. At the end of the day I’m only asking for articulation and facts I look forward to the conversation!

You are a fool. And have trapped yourself into something that Christ did away with. Foods and days were not restricted in the time from Adam to Moses. They were established for the nation of Israel after the flesh during Moses' age. That age ended when the temple was destroyed and the covenant of Moses ended in 70ad (heb 8v13). Yahuwah himself explains the meaning of the wild beasts prohibition to Peter when YAHUWAH likens the unclean animals to Gentiles in Acts 10v9-16. Here Yahuwah clearly states that animals that were not to be eaten were a type of gentiles and that the animals being cleansed by God and eaten by peter is a sign of the gentiles coming into the covenant. That is why Adam and his descendants were told to eat any animal but Moses did not. Under Moses the full separation of Israel from the nations was finalized. This sepapration was commemorated in the sign, type and shadow of their diet. Staying away from unclean animal equates to staying away from the nations. This is also found in Daniel were daniel likens the nations to beast invading the land. You are all fooled. The law of Moses is past. It vanished completey when Christ GENOCIDED the Jews that clung to the types and not to him

People say that because of Mark 7:19 they , under the New Testament, can eat a ham sandwich, while under the old testament they couldn't. If this is what Peter understood when he heard Jesus say it, it makes one wonder why, 9 years later, Peter said, "Not so, Lord, for I have never eaten anything that is common or unclean". (Acts 10:14) Apparently, Peter had not received any instruction that unclean meats were now clean during all that time.

Acts:10:9 About noon the following day as they were on their journey and approaching the city, Peter went up on the roof to pray. 10He became hungry and wanted something to eat, and while the meal was being prepared, he fell into a trance. 11He saw heaven opened and something like a large sheet being let down to earth by its four corners. 12It contained all kinds of four-footed animals, as well as reptiles and birds. 13Then a voice told him, “Get up, Peter. Kill and eat.” 14“Surely not, Lord!” Peter replied. “I have never eaten anything impure or unclean.” 15The voice spoke to him a second time, “Do not call anything impure that God has made clean.” 16This happened three times, and immediately the sheet was taken back to heaven. Romans14:14 I am convinced, being fully persuaded in the Lord Jesus, that nothing is unclean in itself. But if anyone regards something as unclean, then for that person it is unclean. 15If your brother or sister is distressed because of what you eat, you are no longer acting in love. Do not by your eating destroy someone for whom Christ died. 16Therefore do not let what you know is good be spoken of as evil. 17For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit, 18because anyone who serves Christ in this way is pleasing to God and receives human approval. 1Cor15:50 Ideclare to you, brothers and sisters, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. 51Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed- 52in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. 53For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality. 54When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.” John6:25When they found him on the other side of the lake, they asked him, “Rabbi, when did you get here?” 26Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, you are looking for me, not because you saw the signs I performed but because you ate the loaves and had your fill. 27Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For on him God the Father has placed his seal of approval.” 28Then they asked him, “What must we do to do the works God requires?” 29Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.” 30So they asked him, “What sign then will you give that we may see it and believe you? What will you do? 31Our ancestors ate the manna in the wilderness; as it is written: ‘He gave them bread from heaven to eat.’c ” 32Jesus said to them, “Very truly I tell you, it is not Moses who has given you the bread from heaven, but it is my Father who gives you the true bread from heaven. 33For the bread of God is the bread that comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.” 34“Sir,” they said, “always give us this bread.” 35Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty. 36But as I told you, you have seen me and still you do not believe. 37All those the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away. 38For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me. 39And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all those he has given me, but raise them up at the last day. 40For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.”

@kennethcadwell21244 жыл бұрын
@Eytan Baruk well you unfortunately would be wrong as none of law has passed away. It is only observed in a different way unde the New Covenant from how it was under the Old Covenant........ As for the food ordinances you better read again because those were not implemented until the written law of Moses...... Before that Noah was instructed he could eat all things (Genesis 9:3)....... Just as the New Testament passages teach that we are free to eat all things......... Jesus and Paul both taught whatever place they go to eat whatever is served or sold in the market place....(Luke 10:8, 1 Corinthians 10:25-33) Gentiles who do not have the food ordinances of God would not be following them....... We are told under the New Covenant to no longer call stuff unclean (Acts 10:15), because as it teaches nothing is unclean of itself (Romans 14:14)...........
@kennethcadwell21244 жыл бұрын
@Eytan Baruk I have done research on this and you are completely wrong. Nowhere in scripture is a renewed covenant taught....... It is stated right in scripture that there is a Old and New...... "The Lord says, "The time is coming when I will make a NEW COVENANT with the people of Israel and with the people of Judah. 32 It will NOT be like the OLD COVENANT that I made with their ancestors when I took them by the hand and led them out of Egypt. Although I was like a husband to them, they did not keep that covenant. " "The NEW COVENANT that I will make with the people of Israel will be this: I will put my law within them and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people. 34 None of them will have to teach a neighbor to know the Lord, because all will know me, from the least to the greatest. I will forgive their sins and I will no longer remember their wrongs. I, the Lord, have spoken." (Jeremiah 31:31-34) That Old Covenant was the written law of Moses (Deuteronomy 4:13)....... So setting there trying to claim there is no Old and New Covenants. You just contradicted scripture !!! Stop listening to man..........Repent !!!

Anepicflyingbrick _ in the OT the consequence of sin is nearly always death. Which was taken by the people in teir own hands if social norms were concernded, and otherwise sinners were cursed by God. To avoid this, one had to do a sin sacrifice which transferred the death penalty/curse to the animal. This was abolished by the destruction of the temple and the crucification. Plus societal laws nowadays forbid stoning obviously(which is good of course). So now you can repent your sins and pray to Jesus to intercede, basically as a 'unbloody sacrifice'. Even if you dont agree with all of the doctrine, there are useful catholic prayers for this.

Luke 24:44 [44]And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, *concerning me.* Acts 3:18 [18]But those things, which God before had shewed by the mouth of all his prophets, *that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled.* Not that he was going to come do all the laws so that you don't have to do the laws. He came solely to fulfill what was written about him inside the law and inside the prophets. For example Deuteronomy 18:18 is a prophecy of him inside the LAW that he came to fulfill. Genesis 49:10 is something concerning Christ inside the LAW that he didn't come to destroy but to fulfill. Psalms 22, Isaiah 53, etc these are things inside the prophets that's Christ came to fulfill and not destroy. So as far as eating unclean food, yes it is a sin because SIN IS BREAKING GODS LAWS (1john 3:4) and that is a law.

There is multiple other verses that confirm this as well. But those are the main 3 places...... If you think your salvation is required by your obedience to the law. Then you better be keeping ALL 613 of them without breaking even just one.......... Because if you break or not keep even one of them. Then you still stand condemned by the law....... Maurice Lindsey: the more I ponder Revelation, the more I'm thinking that "Mystery Babylon" may be referring to "Mother Earth," Gaia, the Shekinah, Mary....and all of these "female dieties/idols" that people are worshiping these days. As for the clean/unclean "animals," we humans are mammalians and of the(higher order) of the Animal Kingdom, too....since the fall of Adam and Eve in the Garden. We have to shed this "flesh suit (and blood)" and be BORN AGAIN....in the "spirit"....in order to enter the KIngdom of Heaven. I feel that I understand a good bit of Revelation, but lots of it is still confusing. In fact, considering the fact that the number "7" is used throughout this book, it appears to be very "Jewish/Kabbalistic" in context. Peter called Jesus Christ...."the Christ, Son of the Living God," and Revelation calls Him..."Jesus" period, and also the "Morning Star,"(which refers to Lucifer in another book). Any explanations??? Just pondering...that's all. Also....66 books in the Bible....head scratch. I believe in Jesus Christ, but I think the KJV Bible may have a few missing books or a little tampering.

Does it not state clearly that unclean animals represented us gentiles? Do we have salvation in Christ or not? If God did not make unclean meat clean, then we cannot become clean either. Then Jesus only came to save Israel. Yet that is not true. Jesus came to call a people who were not originally God's, the gentiles unto salvation. For apostle Peter stated after his vision, that it signified God cleansing and drawing the gentiles to Him.

I'm assuming you're familiar with Colossians... this is the type of legalistic false teaching Paul warned against. Even in the book of Galatians, the Jerusalem council decided that 1. Gentiles did not need to follow Jewish practices. 2. Gentiles were free to eat anything as long as it was not strangled, sacrificed to pagan gods, or bloody. The Bible, not this mortal man, is a "great resource" to those looking for truth. Test everything, especially those who claim to have the truth. Christ Jesus said, "The Spirit is WILLING but the FLESH is weak." (ref. Matt. 26:40-46)... However, we (True Christian Believers and Followers/Doers) can walk "WITH" Christ Jesus, just like Enoch walked "WITH" God... St. Paul said, "When the PRIESTHOOD was changed, there is a necessity for the LAWS (Moses/Mosaic) to be changed as well."... (ref. Hebrews 7:12)... True Christian believers/followers who worship God/YHWH in Spirit and in Truth never mixed the O.T. with the N.T. ... If you are a True Christian, do the WILL of God through Christ Jesus written in the N.T. Scripture... Christ Jesus himself taught his Apostles... "Do not pour NEW wine to the OLD wineskins."... "Do not patch/sew a hole with a NEW cloth from an OLD garment"... (ref. Matt. 9:17 / Mark 2:22 / Luke 5:37-39)... which means "OLD for OLD".. and "NEW for NEW." ... never mixed the O.T. with the N.T. practices... Examples (just to name a few)... N.T. practices of all Churches of God in Christ Jesus in Asia Minor starting in the 1st Cent. A.D. 1.) No more Physical CIRCUMCISION for Gentiles except for Medical Hygiene purposes only. 2.) No more MEAT/FOOD Restrictions except for the Blood, 3.) SABBATH of MAN (Christ Jesus' Resurrection Day) celebrated/commemorated every FIRST day (Sunday) of the Week for the "Collection/Donation" and "Breaking of the BREAD and WINE" done by Early Christians in the 1st Cent. A.D. 4.) No more TITHINGS (10% of Earning) but a CHEERFUL GIVER wherein their Hearts' decide/desire... 5.) No more ANIMAL Burn Offering Sacrifices for the Atonement of Sin at the Temple, etc. Facts and the Truth of the Matters, Biblically and Logically speaking... Praise be to God in Christ Jesus... Amen.

In Matthew 5:18 Yeshua gave a timeline on how long The Law would stand, ..."Till Heaven and Earth Pass"...He said. Do you recall what the first sin was? That first act of disobedience, that plunged the human race, and the whole world, into sin, death, and suffering? Was it not eating that which G*d had forbidden from being consumed? Has G*d changed? Are dietary restrictions now a non-issue? It was enough of an issue to damn us all. Disobedience to G*d, no matter how small, or great, the transgression appears to us, is still disobedience, and sin.

Jeff Rhoades look up defile in all of the Gospels, and it will be koinos which means things that the Jews declared common/unclean on their own. Then look up common and unclean in Peter's vision, and you'll see that common is translated koinos just as defile is in the gospels and unclean is translated from the word Akathartos which is the word used when God is talking about what he created to be unclean from the beginning. Also notice how the voice told peter to not call what God has called clean common. In the text, it doesn't even mention unclean because what God created unclean is still that way today. Yes, they where talking about food that they could eat. Before you go to Romans 14, know that the word unclean there is koinos which infact, does mean the things that the pharisees /jews declared unclean not God. That's why Peter said, "God has shown me that I should call no man unclean because man wasn't created unclean.

Bottom dwellers are bottom dwellers. So to say that they suddenly and 'magically' are 'clean' is silly. (The NIV has some pretty zany footnotes!) However, is it a 'sin' to eat them? That to me would be the bigger question - and one he did not address in his final series at the end of the vid. And if you are starving, what won't you eat? If you are starving, I am willing to bet that you and I would steal if necessary to stay alive - even things like shrimp, lobster, or talapia. Your justification: "Yeshua was teaching that God's commandments are not a burden, but man-made doctrines are." is out of context in Acts 15. The apostles here said: 28 "For it was mekabel to the Ruach Hakodesh and to us to lay no heavier burden upon you who are from the Nations except these necessary things: 29 "That you non-Jewish ma’aminim hameshichiyim keep away from meat sacrificed to elilim, and dahm, and what is strangled, and zenut. If you are shomer to avoid these, you will do well. Shalom!" You could be right that Yeshua did not teach it's ok to eat unclean meats. The unclean food situation only came up later after Jesus when Gentiles joined the church. However, the apostles and Paul did deal with that situation, and Acts 15 seems to reflect their position for non-jews only. Therefore, the comment in Mark 7, if authentic, could come from the author later interpreting Jesus' teaching.

Gen 1:31 And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day. God declared that everything He made was not good, but very good (including animals, birds, etc.). So how come that later the very same God will pass, through Moses, a list of clean and unclean animals? The dietary laws were given by God to separate Israel from its neighbours. The meal was the main vehicle of fellowship in those days (as it's even today) and a trap for Israel to fall into idolatry. Once Christ came and started His Church, the real jew is not the ethnic one but the spiritual one Rom 2:29. The separation from our neighbours is no longer needed. On the contrary, we are compelled to love them (this was not a commandment under the law of Moses and God repeatedly told them to stay away and not mingle with other people). The true believer has the freedom to eat or not whatever they want Col 2:16 and nobody can judge them.

What would you say about Romans 14? In particular verse 14? Also, 1 Timothy 4:4-5?
@studentofthesaviors.o.s2 жыл бұрын
Very simple it's talking about food offered to idols not leviticus 11 foods. Romans 14:1-2 [1]Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations. [2]For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs. The strong in faith believes he can eat his meats but the weak in faith thinks only eat herbs. Why? Because they see the example of this in Daniel Daniel 1:8,11-12 [8]But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself. [11]Then said Daniel to Melzar, whom the prince of the eunuchs had set over Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, [12]Prove thy servants, I beseech thee, ten days; *and let them give us pulse to eat, and water to drink.* He didn't want to eat meat offered to idols and defile himself so he ate herbs only. But Paul is letting you know that the idol is nothing. The idol didn't make the meat but rather God did. So the strong in faith thank the father and eat but the weak in faith think you are eating it in honor to that idol 1 Corinthians 8:6-7 [6]But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him. [7] *Howbeit there is not in every man that knowledge: for some with conscience of the idol unto this hour eat it as a thing offered unto an idol; and their conscience being weak is defiled.* Therefore the order to the church in Rome and Corinth are similar let's see what it is? Romans 14:21 [21]It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak. 1 Corinthians 8:13 [13]Wherefore, if meat make my brother to offend, I will eat no flesh while the world standeth, lest I make my brother to offend. If your brother seems the meat to be unclean cause it was offered to an idol then it's unclean and you should refuse to eat it so that it doesn't ruin his conscience and he goes off into idol worship or being offended and leave the truth. Same thing goes with 1 Timothy 4:4-5 1 Timothy 4:4-5 [4]For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: [5]For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer. Every creature is made by God not idols so your okay to eat it. But here's the key part, FOR IT IS SANCTIFIED BY THE WORD. Where does the word tell us what foods are SANCTIFIED. Leviticus 11:44,47 [44]For I am the LORD your God: ye shall therefore SANCTIFY yourselves, and ye shall be holy; for I am holy: neither shall ye defile yourselves with any manner of creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. [47]To make a difference between the unclean and the clean, and between the beast that may be eaten and the beast that may not be eaten. So of the foods that are clean and sanctified you may eat of them because God made them not the idols that Rome set up. Paul spoke about this many times. 1 Corinthians 10:25-29 [25]Whatsoever is sold in the shambles, that eat, asking no question for conscience sake: [26]For the earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof. [27]If any of them that believe not bid you to a feast, and ye be disposed to go; whatsoever is set before you, eat, asking no question for conscience sake. [28]But if any man say unto you, This is offered in sacrifice unto idols, eat not for his sake that shewed it, and for conscience sake: for the earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof: [29]Conscience, I say, not thine own, but of the other: for why is my liberty judged of another man's conscience? Paul is dealing with foods offered to idols not Leviticus 11 foods.
@studentofthesaviors.o.s2 жыл бұрын
Short answer Romans 14 and 1Timothy 4 are speaking about foods offered to idols. God made the lamb not Zeus. Therefore you can eat it with Thanksgiving to the Lord because it's sanctified in the word (leviticus 11) And prayer aka thanksgiving and acknowledging God made it and gave it not the false idol. However if your brother deems the lamb unclean because it was offered to an idol than you should refuse to eat it and deem it as unclean too so it doesn't ruin his faith and conscience: don't argue about it. In no way is this speaking about Leviticus 11 foods all unclean animals are now okay to eat.
@douglaspinsak12462 жыл бұрын
@@studentofthesaviors.o.s In Corinthians Paul is talking about food sacrificed to idols, but in Romans and Timothy he is talking about "clean vs unclean meats". Can you find anywhere in the Bible, old testament or new, where foods sacrificed to Idol's are referred to as "unclean"? "Unclean" refers to foods prohibited in Leviticus, not food sacrificed to Idols. Paul never once uses the phrase "unclean" to refer to foods sacrificed to idols, and he never refers to food sacrificed to idols at all in Romans. You are injecting your own pre-determined conclusion into all of these passages.
@studentofthesaviors.o.s2 жыл бұрын
@@douglaspinsak1246 1Timothy4 says nothing about clean or unclean meats So you would be injecting your predetermined conclusion into that. You have a better chance saying that about Romans 14 but it doesn't work because it goes into drink as well which further proves my point. Romans 14:21 [21]It is good neither to eat flesh, *nor to drink wine,* nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak. There is no unclean wine in Leviticus 11. Wine was used as offerings to dieties. Moreover, you see the similar wording and command 1 Corinthians 8:13 [13]Wherefore, if meat make my brother to offend, *I will eat no flesh while the world standeth, lest I make my brother to offend.* Romans 14:21 [21] *It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak.* So it's crystal clear what it's talking about, foods offered to idols.

T MacBestus it is not my anecdote but it is the words that are founded in the Holy Bible. Scripture inspired by men filled with the Holy Spirit. I choose to rely on my father YHWH and Yeshus. Plain and simply, there is nothing in Scripture that states a gentile must convert and adopt the ways of the Jews. Point blank no matter what anyone wants to argue the truth of the matter is that the law was for the Jews and the Gentiles did not adopt the law of Moses in order to become part of the family of believers.

your twisting of a line that is plainly about the vegetarian, and celibate Essenes into the faith of Messiah is what is anecdotal. It is actually completely stunning that you would think the Jewish writers of the new testament were worried about not knowing what foods were "ritually unclean" (whatever that means) after 4000 years of herding and sacrifice. Any converts would swiftly know about doves sheep and goats, from the feasts. These were the most common meats of the time anyway. If you did any historical study into the time at all you would know that the third or fourth largest denomination of jews at the time were the celibate and vegetarian Essenes. They are most likely the group who packed up the dead sea scrolls for us. Some people like to Speculate on Messiah as belonging to this group. no proof and not likely as he countered much of their teaching. This is the group being spoken of in 1Tim4:3 "Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth." notice it does not say suspected "ritually unclean "(?) meat. It says all meat. This is well known to every scholar, except the self taught who have not spent a lot of time in Study outside a liturgy. Buy a good concordance and biblical encyclopedia or download one. It will help brother. Keep studying and pray for guidence and read the WHOLE book.

@smeatonlighthouse43845 жыл бұрын
In Mark the Lord Jesus is showing how food cannot defile a man's heart. In 1 Corinthians ch. 8 the apostle Paul is talking about people's beliefs. Some Christians didn't eat certain things because they came from a Jewish background, while others being gentile Christians had not problem eating them. What Paul was saying was 'don't cause offence or be a stumbling block to someone who has a problem with you eating certain foods'. It is better to abstain in their presence rather than offend them. In Colossians Paul is showing the 'liberty' that a Christian has 'in Christ'. We are not 'under Law' and so no one has the right to judge us on what we eat or drink if in ourselves we do not have guilt over eating foods. If there is 'guilt' then it is a sin to you to do so. God has provided the food for us, so we should give thanks to Him for it and enjoy it.

Secondly, according to Mr Meyer, he seems to impose that Christians should observe Jewish dietary laws. In the Council at Jerusalem (please read Acts 15), did James impose onto the Gentiles that they must/should observe all Jewish dietary laws? e.g. do not eat pigs as instructed in Leviticus 11:7-8 Many Gentile (i.e. NON-Jewish) Christians eat pigs as food. In 1 Corinthians 8:8, it is CLEARLY indicated that "But food will NOT BRING us before God. We are NO WORSE OFF if we DO NOT EAT and NO BETTER OFF if we DO EAT" I did NOT see you or Mr Meyer explaining how 1 Corinthians 8:8 is nullified and NOT applicable to Jewish dietary laws. And therefore Christians must/should observe the Jewish dietary laws? According to your rationale, why is it permissible for Mr Meyer to impose his interpretation and beliefs onto other Christians what should or should not be eaten as food? :) Last but NOT least, in Colossians 2:16 Why is Mr Meyer PASS JUDGEMENT on other Christians in MATTERS of FOOD or drink? Colossians 2:16 Tree of Life Version (TLV) "16 Therefore, DO NOT let ANYONE PASS JUDGEMENT on you in MATTERS of FOOD or drink, or in respect to a festival or new moon or Shabbat." I also did NOT see how you or Mr Meyer justified in passing judgement on other Christians in matters on food. :)

The thing everyone seems to fall apart on is that "the laws changed". Nothing changes, because the Creator does not and cannot change. Some laws may be rendered incapable of being followed by events (there is no temple for instance so we cannot offer sacrifices; our high priest is the messiah). But we are to follow what we can because HIS LAWS ARE HIS CHARACTER! He cannot bear any unclean thing, that's why he gave us a standard: so we can tell the difference. Sometimes it's just as simple as DOING WHAT WE ARE TOLD. It is simple obedience and not constantly looking for a way to do what we want to.

To be quite honest: I actually do love your videos. It's not what mainstream Christianity teaches and ever since coming to them all, I've no longer called myself a Christian but rather a Messianic Believer in Yahshua. I'm always gladdened to see and hear men and women rightly divide The Word Of Truth as it's what we're commanded to do by YAHWEH. I know He's well pleased in such things and u reason of it, more understanding and light comes to those who do not take everything what we've been taught for all these years without searching The Scriptures to see first if there true. Of all the Assemblies I've seen and read of in The New Testament, only the Bereans were called noble because of what they've done; by receiving His Word with all readiness of mind and searching to see if those things were true.
