Does the V3 feel weird to anyone else after years of mice with varying contours? Like, it's definitely a comfortable shape, but the super flat sides and coating make it so neutral in the hand to me that it feels like my hand is confused that it isn't tensing against a tiny perch for control or dealing with a surface that's slippery until it warms up - it just WORKS lol Skippable cutscene: Last DA I owned was maybe around 8 years ago. It was the ancient "greasy clear scroll wheel with murderous blue LEDs" edition. Fine enough for what it replaced for sure, but I always found myself doing whatever the grip is called where you're making a hybrid palm/fingertip kind of grip where your knuckles are all flat and contacting while the palm sags off the rear, haha. I just couldn't keep my hand choked up on it for a more "normal" grip for the massive size, it's like the front flares naturally guided my fingers to the middle grip point. Anyway, I've been super interested in trying the v3 but not nearly as interested in the convenience fee for wireless, so I jumped on an Amazon open box for 40 USD when I discovered the wired existed (Amazon later refunded because 2-day shipping turned to 1 week+ because it went from just the state South of me to the state furthest south of me in the whole dang-ass country, so I got it for free ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ )

@@liron8163 I'm used to mice that have things like a "tiny perch for control or dealing with a surface that's slippery until it warms up." I've tried tiny-ass mice for sure, but these problems are equally prevalent on mice of all shapes because of aggressive contouring for hand size/finger placement that works for the designers but not for everyone trying to use it. That's why I couldn't help but remark on the otherwise unremarkable sides of the thing. I'd since received a few more mice and the Dareu A950 Pro feels like the ambi version of that. It's not TRYING yet somehow just FITS lol

I dont think so, the game engines just need to improve a bit and itll be fine whenever I try to do 8k on my deathadder it doesnt get all input so the game lags behind, and then when I stop my mouse all the input is being thrown in at once. Some games can handle 2k and 4k. Most games can handle 2k but 4k and 8k is harder

Is it just me or for most comp games get some serious stutter for anything over 1k poling rate currently. Using the g wolves Hsk 4k Cyber punk is pretty bad for it but actually works OK in wired mode. If anyone has a fix or trick for this pls let me know. But for now I just dropped the rate to 1k.

Mines fine but check your cpu loads as the higher the polling the more cpu it takes to run it

I like wired mice so i bought this one and feels amazing. For $70 this mouse beats the zowie ec-c series in terms of specs. I just wish razer will make a dav3 mini wired 8khz and viper mini wired 8khz

In it's price range the dav3 wired is the undisputed ergo king. The Best wireless alternative at a similar price would be the g703 but it's 95g 1khz and no optical switches. Or the xlite v2 which is 10-20€ more expensive, same weight but with holes, 1khz, no optical switches, worse build quality and plenty of firmware problems with the wireless mode like higher latecy than logitech and razer. I take a wire over that any day.

It's literally the best mouse spec wise, best sensor, and optical switches, it's also better than the dav3 pro spec wise too, because 8k polling. Also better than the viper 8k.
