I'm trying out the Subtitles for the first time - I hope the quality is bearable! I'll look into it how to improve it.

Sometimes I play the Nh6 variation of the Leningrad. The Dutch is my favorite defence since I began playing chess, decades ago.

Thank you so much for the intro to this course. I'm definitely going to give the quick-starter a try and may very well soon purchase the full course As a classical Dutch player, I'm curious to get a little bit more insight from you on your preference for the Leningrad. Of course, everything you say about the dark-square bishop I feel similarly- with regards to bringing it to e7 then to f6 after an exchange of the knight on e4. In chess, everything is a tradeoff of course. Outside of potentially weakening your kingside further with the move g6, can you say anything about what does a Leningrad player give up/compromise compared to the classical Dutch? Phrased another way: As yourself being a Leningrad player, if you were challenged to honestly analyze any advantages the classical Dutch has over the Leningrad, what would you say?

Hi GM Neiksans, I am enjoying your course. Are you going to go over some of your games in the Chess Olympiad playing for Latvia. I noticed you played an early round game in the Leningrad Dutch.
