Soul Conduit was one of the few cards that survived my purge when I sold all my cards in 2012, then I started playing again and you made that Rowan deck video, the timing was impeccable.

11:51, When you said 1 in 80 chance of getting a card back, I remembered when I was playing with one of my friends, & he chaos warped my dragonmaster outcast, & I shuffled it back into my deck, & revealed the top card, & it was dragonmaster outcast, & my friend was saying that I was cheating, but in reality I was trying to get out something else, lol.

Thanks. These episodes are great. I have a way to utilize my legacy bulk and bond with my son, helping him build a deck he can pub stomp his friends with. Once he gets over power gaming, he'll learn the true value of the game: Play Memes, Not Bombs.

i run pike in my codie adventure deck, it's great as a sleper card to just pop out and then pop onto codie to hit for commander damage, which people dont usually expect in a deck where you cant cast permanents lol

Soul conduit is in a diplomacy/kingmaker deck I run with Queen Marchesa, pretty fun card! (I also have Axis of Mortality which is an enchantment that does the same effect on your upkeep only) Also Mind Unbound would be really cool for a Goldberry, River Daughter sagas matter deck, where you can pull lore counters off sagas and put them on Mind Unbound, to repeat saga triggers and get more card draw.

In case if it matters, with the new Screaming Nemesis or Stigma Lasher, Soul Conduit can't be used on yourself for the purposes to get the higher life total and if you target yourself and a opponent with more life than you, nothing will happen instead.

Culling Dias is so great, I have them in my Felisa deck. Someone once tried to make me feel bad about "a bad sac outlet" but I love it and stuff.

Hedron Matrix would have been perfect in my Grunn The Lonely King deck. When Grunn attacks, if he attacks alone, double his power until the end of turn. He is also 6 cmc to cast

Soul conduit won me my first mtg tournament as my opponent was at -31 and was holding up a platinum angel. Won a worm coil engine

I mean, Staff of Titania is better than Strata for that hypothetical Mono Green deck if you’re talking either/or (Getting a free land after every swing, even if it is a vulnerable creature wins the secondary benefit contest, on top of Staff costing one less to cast), but redundancy-wise if you’re doing something Voltron-y? Sure.

most of the cards in my current deck: overgrown battlement axebane guardian wall of roots wall of tanglecord capsize doppelgang memnarch mass manipulation evangelize sideboard: energy flux curious herd kataki, wars wage boseiju, who shelters all ------ btw this is my current vintage deck. on turn 5 i could tap my walls for 36 mana. turn 4 doppelgang onto the walls. turn 5 cast capsize 6 times.

Appreciate the effort but none of these appeal to me personally. I can however suggest a few that I found recently and I believe most if not all of them are cheaper minus one aura that might be a few dollars. First and foremost is Rayne, academy chancellor……even if rayne is targeted with removal you still get good value from it and if she is enchanted with another recommendation called ‘diplomatic immunity’ then even better. :) Another for more artifact type decks I came across is called ‘Glacian, powerstone engineer’. Another nifty one with a sort of Jin gitaxis type effect is called ‘kira, glass spinner’ Another one is called ‘ertai, wizard adept’……granted it cost more than a standard counter spell but still great to have for either deterrence or to cause an opponent to waste a removal on it. On the reverse end if you want to wreck a token strategy then there is a nifty enchantment called ‘March of the machine’(no relation to the Phyrexian set) and a black creature called ‘xenic poltergeist’ that has a similar but more limited effect.

I love wargate and play it in all my decks that I can in a ramp slot. Early game use it for ramp and late game use it for what ever you need at the time. I also own multiple gaeas cradles so great way to get them out untapped

It’s always hilarious when someone spot-removes a Mob right as it comes online, then you plonk out a Swarm a turn or so later. I’ve been tinkering around with Mono Green Landfall since we got Bristly Bill, and I gotta admit it’s mindless, but duping the Swarm with either Bramble Sovereign or Lithoform Engine (Playing it to dupe my Landfall enchants and key guys like Fertilid and Evolution Sage) is always good fun.
