Looks interesting so far. Definitely a good simulation und training for foot to foot, hip-engagement, upper-body-stability etc. But my question: how to simulate fore-aft-Balance?

The balance in the turn is much harder than for aft. I think the sky track can help you improve your carving even without the for aft part

@ That‘s what I wanted to say. 😂 It‘s an good tool, but no complete simulation.

Very nice. Interesting also on other videos to see skiers move their arms more freely.on the Sim. Thoughts?

My outside hand moves to a position that feels “downhill” to me. Because it is limited to lateral, the arm swing and twist in the torso makes it feel more like a turn

@skidadTV if we were to edit a video of a skier in motion that fixates the ski's we might see a very similar activity of the torso and arms

Can the screen be a mirror? Looks like you are fighting an old A frame especially on your left leg. River shows no a frame when using that trainer.

He had the ski with setup much wider. Also I was on a smaller unit. Good for SL turns, the larger one is much better for GS

@ cool! Just thought it would help if it was set up to see yourself while using the trainer.

It's a good idea and that's how the one I used was set up. Mirror on the ground tilted up so I could see how bad I was @@STEVE-lk2ft

It appears to me that you can't or don't get your hip inside as much as you would in real skiing.
@viitakeittoАй бұрын
Looks like the skis are set at a fixed width on the rail. Propably a safety feature, you would not want your legs to splay out when your "skis" are attached that rail thing.

I was on the smaller sky track. When I switched to SL mode it felt more natural. The larger track is the one I tried my first trip to Sim Sports and it definitely lets you get further inside Hopefully I get back there and can show that one

I want one of these, but boy are they expensive

I recomend you pmts direct parallel system
@svenfranck9972Ай бұрын
It seems to be forcing you into an A-frame
@amundekroll749027 күн бұрын
It would work a lot better if you turned around and faced the other way.

Maybe a valuable tool but still to far from the real stuff. No feet turning,,they « simulate » the turning effect with the image of the terrain tilting . Your hip look like they are lock maybe because no lead change

I'm nearly 60...and was a collegiate racer in my youth....this maybe be great for base fitness, but In 40yrs of athletic skiing I never saw anyone who kept their skis completely equidistant throughou😢t the turn...no foot steering or forward aft loading.😮 Is this for just rich dentists and CPAs....cause anyone at the real coalface is in Portillo or Hintertux / Solden during the off season, as they are a member of a National team. Its Disney for rich folks...
