this is my favorite archetype in timeless so far - i had just been relying on the DRCs and some faithless looting to fill the yard but i like the altar/stitchers supplier plan you added, especially since you can fuel it with rituals and don't need to worry about red mana while storming. gotta love being able to take full advantage of the one-of demonic tutor too😈

Legend, I have a question. Now that's been some months, do you think the lack of rotation benefited Standard? Do you find it easier to build decks or does it get frustrating including the same cards over and over in different builds?

While in theory there are more cards to brew with, the overall power level is so high that it’s hard for those decks to compete. Your deck needs to survive monored while not getting buried by Domain Ramp, which is a very hard balance to strike. If they ban some of the best cards it goes against the philosophy of your cards being in Standard for longer. With the ongoing powercreep it’s difficult for Wizards to sell new sets at lower power levels to combat this issue. So it’s a tricky problem to solve and it’s exacerbated in best of one where there’s no sideboards to exploit weaknesses in certain strategies. So it feels like a drastic change is required somewhere for people to get excited again.

​@@LegenVD I think scrapping Alchemy and making BO1 Arena standard its own format that has major shake ups every month or two would really make it more exciting. Alchemy had the right idea but poor execution. Start treating Arena more like a video game and less like a digital version of a card game.
