Instead of Tamron 100-400 I'd go with Nikon AFP 70-300 full frame lens, which is lighter, compact, cheaper and sharper, you can crop it to 400mm equivalent of Tamron and it's still sharper.

It’s 100€ cheaper so personally im gonna go for the Tamron. It also looks better 😂 but I understand your opinion and it’s not bad. I don’t know if it’s sharper, because I haven’t seen a comparison.

Great to see another video! Good comparisons! I have the 70-200 F2.8 . It's amazing. Perfect for what I do. And that's the key ... it matters not what others say is the lens to buy. It's all based on your needs and requirements for your compositions and tastes.

Thanks for watching again Darryl 😁 you are totally right. When I got my hands on the lenses, my thought was that I wanted to buy the 70-200 because I knew the colors where better. But with actually shooting with the lenses I immediately knew that’s not what I needed, but that I really need that 200mm extra. For me that’s more important than a little better image quality. It’s only to put my photos in my video and maybe for client work, but nobody will notice the difference, except me.

Great to see you back Joris. I personally love the range of the 100-400 (I have the sigma) but also love the low aperture of my primes

I think a lot of landscape photographers will go for that extra 200mm, but the colors of the 70-200 is better. I also like to use my 50mm prime, it’s different shooting with a prime.

I'd get the 100-400 if I had a choice between those two but the 70-200/f4 and 70-300 are good lighter options too.

Good to see another video from you dude. 😁 I really like the first shot though, too bad you missed the other file on that. I hope you wouldn’t be needing a telephoto while being drunk in parties 😂 might be good for bicep girls to keep the pump on though. 😉 Great comparison on the other shots! Good decision making process too. Really just need to consider the features you will be using.

Yes it’s been a while 😅 glad I finished this video. I suck at photographing people so don’t need a telelens at party’s. I need my 2 hands to hold my beer 😂 I made this comparison just for me, so this will be different for someone else.

The 100-400mm is a logical choice for you. The image stabalisation is good for you if it gets windy and you are taking shelter in the car. 😂 Amazing images out of both lenses, win - win whichever you choose!

😂 I could’ve use that lens then, because those photos are blurry, Dam windy Malaga. The color of the 70-200 was a bit better, but it’s the focal length that got me.
