@@ShiroKage009 For me the lyrics are more sad than edgy, especially when you look at some of the story and background lore. It really sounds like he's given up on everything. Outside of context, yeah the lyrics are an early teenager's wet dream. We all probably know that one guy from mid-high school who would say stuff like this... And the melody is really nice. Goes well with the vocals.

Same vocalist. Junya Motomura is their 3D animation director. He speaks mega fluent English (like, confidently and colloquially, well above the standard of what's taught in their schools) and can do death metal growls, so they asked him to do both songs. At a GDC talk about GGXrd's animation, he told everybody his role at the company and added "I'm also a vocalist but we don't talk about that."
