I really like this concept. I think if you have it photographed and drafted that should count. If you need to buy a box or something before you hit the list button it is fine because you have done all the work already which is the point of the challenge.

Maybe the penalty should be having to list the item that needs the most work or cleaning something that you’ve been putting off (shoes, stain treating,etc) I love this concept😃

LOL! Love this video! I think the penalty should be something that still advances the success of your sales. Perhaps for each item you don;t get listed on time you have to increase your listings the next week by two additional listings. THAT would be enough to inspire me to push ahead with that last one or two items listed on time. LOL!

Love this listing game! I may have to try it/something similar. I think the penalty I would give to myself would be that any 'fails' increase the difficulty - maybe add an extra item to subsequent rounds! That way its a fairly stiff penalty to motivate you, BUT the penalty also benefits you in that you list more.

This was a fun way to get things listed in your death pile! As for selling “adult” and “scandalous” items, I have no problem with it. If it’s going to make me money and make someone else happy, I’m all for it! In fact, I have two an Aunt Jemima/Mammy items to list soon and I’m a little nervous but there are plenty listed on EBay, so I’m not the only one!

Loved the video and the challenge! I think you should draw another item so you get through your items quicker. For example, you didn’t list the magazines so draw or pick another item to get listed, like the Humpty lamp.

About a year ago, I bought a stack of 80s/90s adult magazines for $1 each. I’ve been sitting on them because I wasn’t quite sure how to list them. You’ve inspired me to bundle them up and give it a shot. I’m just not sure how to photograph them, I guess just front/back covers and edges to show condition?

OK it was the magazine lots!!! I was trying to guess and that was one of the things I thought it might be lol. This is another great idea for a video and something that I think would benefit any reseller. We always list the fun stuff first don't we.

Loved the Idea of making a game of listing your death pile. I would need a garbage can full of little slips of paper. 😂. I love Anuschka bags. My last 3 personal bags have been Anuschka crossbody’s. Just sanitize where the mouse chewed and disclose the flaw, someone will still love it.

Amber love the bag with the holes in the lining. I would still sell the small bags with it. Someone might be able to use them to use a piece of it as a patch on the hole in the bigger bag and even on one of the smaller one. You be amazed how good some can make things look like new. i feel you on the whatnot. I've had some amazing deals/flips but also a handful of problems too. They have pretty good customer service and i've been refunded for all the times i've submitted a problem. I've had others i didn't bother if they were super cheap. fun idea for a video!

I am a CPA who also resells as a hobby, and I love watching your videos. I also make up these elaborate rules for my listing like tracking the breakeven points on a wide variety of rescue boxes in an Excel spreadsheet. This was a really fun approach :) Maybe the penalty should be having to pick two items from your death pile to donate in place of the one you're keeping.

I don't blame you at all for selling the mags, that's a terrific ROI. I would only be worried about platforms taking it down for inappropriate content? But obviously not an issue if others are doing it too. I happened to have a long sleeve t-shirt I sold that was an Easy Riders biker/flames/skull logo graphic and it sold for more than I thought it would. Only downside of this way of listing is you may be listing things in the off season and not making as much money for them, imho. Thanks for the video!

I don't think a penalty is needed because you had very valid reasons for not listing the mags by your deadline AND you listed them once you got your boxes and more issues. So I say you deserved an extension. Now on to the next round.

I got two similar style Dooney purses. It’s been so difficult to move them. I finally sold one for $125 the other one is still listed. I’ve probably had it like for two years and I’ve sent a lot of low offers on it. Reselling just isn’t what it used to be😩

I like the visual representation of how much is clothing versus shoes versus other stuff. I also want to set myself up to be able to choose a specific item if I wanted to. For example if I chose 8 clothing items in a row randomly, I might purposefully choose a different color. Or maybe at some point I’ll do a video where I draw like 30 clothing items only. The colors allow me to change things up in the future if I want!

You’re definitely being hard on yourself by giving penalties when there’s undisclosed flaws and prep work needed. Why not have prepping the item count and then making those items the first things you list next time.
