Lower Alabama here...I bought my 2012 Scion iQ in 2012 with 4,000 miles, and it's the best car I've ever owned. I've put 2 batteries, 3 sets of tires, oil and gas in it...that's it! I'm retired, so it still has less than 70,000 miles on it...♥

How did you screw down the wood box? What size screw or deep? Did you do anything with carpet? Caaue I don't want to go through the metal, lol. Thank you in advance.

Hi Jeff I matched the length of the screws going into the floor to the length without the wooden box of the original screws plus the thickness of the wooden board to make sure the screw didn't go too deep into the floor. Hopefully this sounds clear 🙄
