The tip about using your chest and stomach together works so well. It didnt even sound like me. It sounded like batman from the dark knight
@kyle81627 ай бұрын
Key things in the vid 01:52 🗣 Practice "downtalking" by ending sentences with a deeper pitch, signaling confidence and authority. 04:40 🌬 Breathe fully into your stomach while speaking to naturally produce a deeper and more commanding voice. 08:19 🗣 Practice making your voice 10-20% deeper and slower to improve your vocal presence. 09:55 🗣 Consciously breathe through your nose while speaking to sound more powerful and in control. 11:06 🎙 Having a deep and commanding voice can enhance your influence, especially in online and virtual communication.

100% True!!! I realized i had a deeper voice compared to my peers, but i always spoke with a higher pitch to 'seek' their approval; when i started to speak with a deeper voice, it immediately changes the persepctive of the people around me. This is 100% legit, and am struggling to keep a deeper voice always, but i think practice should get me there! thanks mate!

🔴 As others have stated, you don't need the gym or equipment. Bodyweight training is better in that it helps your balance and useful muscle memory. Weights at the gym can come later to add some bulk but honestly look up bodyweight, pushups, crunches and also resistance bands are super cheap and also incredibly effective. 😮

I can attest that talking slower and breathing through your nose projects a lot of confidence. As a trial attorney, I can also tell you that it’s okay to take a beat and think about what you want to say before you say it! From the listener’s point of view, it unintentionally creates a dramatic pause that draws the listener in. Also, it gives the listener time to process what you’re saying as well! I’ve also realized that I can actually hear my own thoughts and process them better when I slow down. I used to think that the ideal lawyer was the fast talking used car salesman type of personality! Nope! Be yourself but be your best self. Give yourself grace and time when getting your thoughts out. It’ll benefit not just you but everyone else in your life.
