I agree, I also use the hairdryer and it makes a world of difference. Also, I have a bullet 3.0 with the same motor, bought it used, wont idle by itself, as long as there's throttle input its a beast and reacts to needle adjustments properly. Started doing some digging and it looks like i have a leak where the carburetor meets the engine, pinch bolt area and all that, hard to say exactly where from when its all coated in nitro. I dont have O-rings readily available near by so i will be using RTV sealant, unfortunate I know, but when theres a will theres a way 😅 Anywho, ill report back here if the repair fixes the idling problem. After many years away from the nitro world, this little HPI is putting me to the test once again, traxxas did it first and I developed an allergy towards them 😂 but still looking at a revo 3.3 which I cant believe the engine hasnt changed since it was out before I quit in 2010.

Yea the hairdryer works wonders love it . Keep me posted with the leak . I love the revo 3.3 hell of a machine . I’m happy your getting back into nitro . I’m trying to bring it back to life .

@@dozyrcworld3847 Well my friend, after sealing the carb and the back plate, not seeing a steady idle, it simply dies on brake application. Idle gap is set to factory spec, HSP and LSN are back to factory spec, new o ring in fuel tank due to a leak, tried 2 different plugs, new battery in igniter, resealed the head, exhaust gasket is new. Carb has been cleanrd. All these things have been done due to the stalling situation. Im out of options at this point. Any ideas?

Nice one bro is that hpi 3.0 engine because it looks just like the one i have on my bullet that got Drilled wrong 😢
