Enable dlss on viewport first to work on it

I have had issues with older GPUs, they get the message dlss failed to load because of module could not be found and the screen is black.

strange... in UE4 we had dlss option available in the viewport as well... and here is no such option.. why?

How can I set the DLSS preset for example to Performance on my VR project? If i just set the view percentage to 50 in the viewport settings, I guess it just sets the DLSS to the viewport, but not when I preview the level in VR mode?
