That's right. I noticed that when I started to see 3D, you need to be aware and concentrated. Now I try to do it always. I'm sunning every day and bought a red light for the cloudy days. My color contrast has improved a lot. Mark, you are the best. Greetings from Spain.

I exercise on a rebounder while focusing on an object nearby. It also improved my balance and coordination. It drains my lymphatic system from toxins and it does not jarred the body....

i go on walks and bring 2 or 3 tennis balls. as i walk forward and lock in on 1 object while noticing the movement of other objects i throw 1 ball at the object i locked in on for 3+ seconds. I then immediately throw a 2nd tennis ball at either the 2nd or the 3rd or the 4th most significant object in my peripheral field of vision. This exercises forces me to constantly triangulate every object as i walk. Afterwards, I have to track down and retrieve the 2 tennis balls. More vision practice! LOL. :)

One more thing is that i heard somewhere people with myopia tend to look more downwards while walking and this was also the case with me So we have to keep in mind to look upwards while walking Thnx for making me aware of it

Thank you Marl Warren for this! I was seeing the moon last night and I remember my childhood, the kind of game we used to play trying to make the moon stop following. And it is a good drill, play with the moon since she is locked and shining on our periphery vision.

Always appreciate these videos. I wanted to ask, have you ever come across anything that can potentially improve or get rid of eye floaters? I know its a common question on all eye channels, but I have yet to find anything that works. I figured if anyone would know it would be you. many thanks
@MyopiaIsMental

Great question! When I first started learning to improve my eyesight I had floaters. Over the years I've learned two things that can help get rid of them. Floaters are damaged or old proteins that are floating around the vitreous humor of the eyes. This is the jelly-like substance inside the eyes. The first thing that helps improve floaters is improving your eyesight. As your eyesight improves, so will the floaters. The second thing is you need to get the body to recycle the old and damaged proteins. So how do you do this? You need to make changes in your diet. Cut out sugar and carbs for at least 30 days and you should notice a difference. Going on a keto type of diet kicks the body in a state called autophagy, which is the bodies mechanism to recycle old and damaged proteins. Combine this with intermittent fasting and you should notice some changes within 30 days. I got this from Dr. Eric Berg here on KZbin and it has been the most logical approach to floaters that I've personally done myself (Sorry pineapple, even though I love it)!

Hey Mark!! I think I have been getting somewhere. Thanks to you. But it hasn’t been a month, more like two weeks and the first few days I know I made some progress but as I kept going without my glasses, I noticed that I felt like I was going farsighted but as days went on, doing the techniques, going without glasses, things got more blurrier. I think I have blur adaptation and I can’t clear things up. I’m going to try to wear my glasses to give my eyes a break from nonstop working. Is this something I should do? Also Is it normal to get headaches after a long day of doing the techniques? I experienced this for the first week. I’m -4 in right eye, -3.75 in left eye if that helps. Please respond, I feel like I’m so close.!!!

Rome wasn't conquered in a day and neither will you vision. Many of the techniques I talk about took me months to turn into habit so you can't rush this process. All of this is covered in the Basic Journey Guide on my website if you haven't gone through it yet.

Oh yes of course, I review myself on the guide often! I just bump into a lot of situations that wasn't on the guide at all and/ or weren't really well reviewed in your videos. I appreciate the encouragement! I'll make gains and ask questions on your most recent vids if I have any!! This has been a dream goal for me for three years, looking at methods, but getting nowhere. But now that I found your method I feel I'm finally making gains!

@@MyopiaIsMentalanother quick question I am SO sorry. Would it be better to wear glasses for a very short period of the day to not get blur adaptation? Because I know you mentioned in one o your recent videos that you took breaks from them and not fully ditched them. I wanna make sure I'm not straining my eyes or damaging them further. Also how do you know if your ciliary muscle is relaxing when you don't get th tearing and stinging. I know you mentioned you don't get it anymore.

Mark make one video talking about enviroment, re-arrangements, proper lightining, and so on. This stuff at the beginning of anyonw journey tends to help the brain to reprogramm itself to identify those patterns in other enviroment. Nathan and you talked about learning to be aware of periphery and motion at home and Nathan said "if no more", been super important to learn to notice first at home or at the job enviroment. It would be great if you talk about it. That video of you and Nathan has a bunch of insights, you can break many of the topics in new approaches. Because there both of you were saying about real life, not in a room doing techniques. Amazing video..!!!

Can you guys post your experiences in the replies? I’m just starting out, just got my first clear flash. I’m about -4 and I have been going without my glasses for about 4 days maybe 5 and I have seen improvement! But then this morning I had a headache and my eyes were sore. I thought I had been overdoing the techniques and so I put my glasses back on for like a few minutes and the headaches and the pain in my eyes went away. But now my progress Yo yo-d back So, I was wondering if anyone went through something similar.
@Bernardo-mt8ho
@Bernardo-mt8ho Жыл бұрын
It's interesting your approach to this. I bet every human being does this way. We tend to speed up at the very beginning, if not, we do not feel we are really into it. In general lines, when we get our clear flash we believe we know everything or we can do. And in most cases we start making a lot mistakes trying to be most of the time in that "clear flash zone". I know you don't want to hear that, but, it's better approach this stuff in a continuous rythm, learning something here, then something there and making the fine tunning. Again, it's hard. But Mark gave us one secret: listen to your body. You can keep your routine as it was before you learnt that you can improve your eyesight. And you will slowly start to add things, like for example re-arranging your enviroment to give you more depth perception, you can shift your lightining or setting your table or chair in a way that you will always notice things at your periphery. For example, if you have a PC or a notebook you can use two monitors. Or if you do not have an extra monitor you can resize some browser tabs to watch for example a walkthrough on KZbin while you are doing other thing. And as Mark said in a comment, you can let your television at your side while you are using your device or your notebook/PC. This thing of having a television at your side is so strong that I still remember that first time I did, years ago, without noticing. I was playing or surfing on web on my notebook while I was "watching" football on TV, and that day is still on my mind. Now I know why, what Mark said is true. If you do not have none of these things, try to put a mirror at your side, to reflect part of what you are doing on screen or in real life. I think rocking and long swing are great techniques. I do more long swing because I feel that this one strenghten my chest and armpit area, and when I do not do this drill I feel that my body loses something that let my upper body stable. You can even try insert a piece of clothing under both of your armpit, and notice that you will start to feel more relaxed. Other thing I notice myself I used to do without knowing is; putting earphones or earplugs tend to make my eyeballs stable. Sometimes I put a piece of cotton in both of my ears. Try it. Try to notice more your arms or even your shoulders, the shoulders are more difficult to notice, but the arms are easily. If you share your awareness with your arms and with what your are seeing, it will notice an improvement.

I don't know, but I feel some weird connection between calf and eyesight. When I contract my calves my vision gets a little better. I've read somewhere that calves are the second heart. And intestine is the second brain.

@TAYLORBIGGESTFAN13

Hi! So I know I’m not Mark, but I have some advice, I would like to know how your eyes are “hurting” I think I have a solution. All you need to do is relax them. Rub your clean palms together to create heat and friction, cup your palms and put them right over your eyes. But since your palms are cupped you shouldn’t be able to actually TOUCH your eyes. You’re just covering them. Then, think of something nice or something that makes you feel happy like everything is going to be alright, kind of like a touch zone. Or you can focus on your breath. Once you do this take your palms gently out and look around, things might feel more vibrant or more clearer, don’t worry, if you don’t find a change. Even if it just relaxes your eyes is good. Keep doing this, trust me, it’s like magic! If you have any questions , I’m always here 😉

Using something like this would help your ability to track movement. However you also need to be working on seeing your peripheral at the same time as your eyes are tracking the movement of the highlighted text.

Hey uh, I have been going without glasses still but kinda fell behind on the techniques. I’ve put my glasses on for a few seconds and noticed that things in the far distances felt different.. and yes, I feel like I have lost some progress the past few days. Should I wear my glasses for a few days, to help relieve strain? I did the techniques just now and my eye is really red. Is this it from not doing the techniques as often the past other days?

How is everyone above -4 starting this out? I have a feeling I’m gonna overdo it going days without glasses with pretty bad myopia. I’m a -4. Should I wear my glasses for a little bit to kinda give my eyes a rest and come back to this a day or 2 later? I’m still gonna try to do the techniques every now and then in that time period. I did this already but wasn’t able to get the tearing and stinging as much afterwards but I lost track of doing the techniques, resulting me in just going without them. I’m not able to clear things up nearly as well as I used to. I am stuck. Please *HELP*
