I don't think she's disrespectful at all. Her father never showed her any love. It's useless loving your children if you never show that love. She could never open up to him because his idea of always being 'stern' doesn't leave any room for emotions to be discussed. You NEVER tell your children they're two-faced hypocrites. He never allowed meaningful communication with her when she was growing up. It was always 'he knew best'. This dynamic continued into adulthood.
