WOW, Tara has an amazing voice! When she did the siren, it was so smooth and seamless! You didn’t hear any passagios, it was one continuous slide up and down. And she has a BIG range!

For some reason, it's easier for me to do Mixed Voice than Head Voice lately. I feel as if my Head Voice/Falsetto is just being lost, as if it's no longer existing.
@Mpauliinahei Жыл бұрын
Do you feel like this happens when you practise your mix or belting a lot? Cause for me happens that my head voice gets all weak (highest notes I even lose them) after I've been mixing or belting just before. It comes back the next day though, but gets weak again after practicing. I have no idea why this happens. Maybe because the techniques are not perfect yet. I work with a vocal coach so that will change at least. Also, what I've noticed is if I haven't sang in head voice for a while, I lose the highest notes. That's when I do sirens as high as they go at that time and I get them back very quickly, like the next day or so. I don't know your situation but hope this helps you in some way?

What about the people who do this siren but their voices still get stuck somewhere? This isn’t about being afraid you’ll sound bad at all it’s about your voice getting stuck in an area.

Wow you guys are amazing singers! 😍My goal is to master the mix one day! 🙏🏽 it’s so hard, it sometimes feels like I’m balancing on a tightrope! But I guess I just need to keep practicing! I’ve heard some vocal coaches say that mix is not a real vocal term and that it’s made up which I don’t quite understand! Xx

Actually, my mix voice became my go to. Together with my head voice, it’s the easiest register for me. Which makes me insecure ahout using my chestvoice a lot, especially in belting. What is the way to learn more about belting better when you usually fall back on your mix?

I did that vocal slide and it feels much harder coming down from head voice to chest voice. Why is that?
@penelopekristan58602 жыл бұрын
From head to chest is one of the most difficult passagios. That head voice is so comfy that your voice doesn’t want to come back down.

is not belting something you build from mixed voice? 😅
@lumbratile41742 жыл бұрын
No? Belting is just pulling chest voice
@geminikid16172 жыл бұрын
Belting does require mixing in order for it to be healthy. Very low belting can be full chest, Nd after a while it’s usually a chest dominant mix or balanced mix. When it’s a head voice dominant mix it’s not rly a belt anymore most of the time.
@geminikid16172 жыл бұрын
@@lumbratile4174 that’s partially it. Wh u just described is usually unhealthy tense belting.
