La borra is actually a pretty big carry with Poppea in my opinion. I think if the enemies dropped one more chest this run you might’ve been able to win it.

You should click the guide button in the pause/map menu, it turns on arrows that point at items on the map like it does for chests. Super helpful when enemy's are covering the item you're looking for.

The green reaper can only (or at least as far as I know) be killed by rosaries, and always drops a chest

I'm not sure if it works always, but I've encountered it once, and it died to evolved axe hit when I was doing the Dairy Plant with Red Reaper

La Borra is a lifesaver in this map with this character. The uncapped duration will make the creeping damage zone stack upon one another. At a certain point, enemies that step on the stacked zone will receive a massive spike of damage. With Soul Eater, Mannajja, and candelabrador, the ones that CAN be knocked back, will bounce across the screen. The ones that can't be knocked back, like the elites and golems, will die from the massive La Borra stacks that you are standing on.

The bibles did so little damage because of the Mannajja knockback and Runetracer, Santa Water and Death Spiral killing everything outside of the bible reach

He needed to get clover for increased luck. It increases the chance of slowing for Manajja. Using a decent MissingNo roll with high luck, I've gotten it to do some insane defense

the last few minutes you were being saved by knockback it seems. the golems in the final minute are resistant to knockback and so were able to walk right in

It looks like the effect of the Song of Mana is that the wave goes off screen, and then turns back around. When they increase the effect, it just means that the effect travels longer, and when they increase the cooldown, its so that when the effect fully comes back to where your character is, by the end of its normal upgrade path it will have full uptime. If the cooldown wasn't increased, it would be too OP because it would be moving twice as fast as it did before you evolved it.

I think armour should've been prioritized over wings, the character had enough speed already, and a decently leveled armour can allow for a much higher survivability compared to more speed.

Should have gone Attractorb first to evolve Borra as it is one of the best scaling weapons especially for this character with her hyper boost duration. You can stack a tons of pools together and become invulnerable. Wings is unneeded tbh because you are fast enough and more doesn't matter when you can't move at full speed to avoid bumping into enemies.

Have you noticed how Song of Mana works? It does damage multiple times and there is a window when it first goes off where you can hit enemies outside the initial width by moving towards them, placing their hitboxes inside the graphic. Also, when it hits the "roof" and "floor" of your screen, it bounces back and does damage again. The longer you make it last, the more times it can hit enemies. It synergizes best with cooldown and area.

Apparently it's possible to evolve weapons before the 10 minute mark now, I got unholy vespers at 7 minutes on one of my runs, and evolved another weapon at 9 minutes

The evolved bible being infinite duration means you don't have several instances of it running at the same time with high enough duration and low enough cooldown, it's just one permanent instance. It can effectively nerf it to evolve it, but since the item letting it evolve also enables the double instances it can't really be avoided.

I do confirm, i BARELY beat stage 3 hyper mode with 70% curse with Poppea because the last minute is litterally side stepping ennemies that clip into you without any reaction time available because i didn't have clock lancet to freeze them, it's hell

The problem with Bible is that its evolved form DOESN'T benefit from extra duration. Its counter-intuitive, but when it evolves and becomes "permanent", it no longer spawns extra bibles if your duration is longer than its cooldown. That, combined with how extremely detrimental extra area of effect is for its defensive capabilities, makes it a "pretty bad" weapon for item stacking, IMO. I think it needs a simple buff where Area of Effect also makes the projectiles larger, so that it evens out with the extra range, and having larger area doesn't just mean wider gaps.

If you evolve the bible, it stops summoning new bibles, so it changes your uptime from 120% to 100%, which actually lowers your damage output.

tyler, i'm not sure if you're aware of this or not, but apparently there is a cap to how many projectiles you can have from a single weapon, that being 20 projectiles, e.g. you can only have 20 king bibles up at any time, no matter how much cooldown, duration, and amount of projectiles you have
