I am running a PackTenna 20/40 EFHW. www.packtenna.com/store/p25/EFHW-20%2F40_-_End_Fed_Half_Wave_20m_and_40m_Antenna.html#/ It is a light and compact antenna that is good for all types of portable operations. The antennas are very popular and are always sold out. If you are interested in one, I would suggest joining the mailing list to get notified when they are back in stock. In this configuration, I was using a 10 m fiberglass mast and connecting the end of the antenna to the top of the mast with the feed point near the ground. If I am in the woods, I will toss the end of the antenna up in a tree and slope the antenna.
