Guys, this was a great video. I just drove thru that area today in my Semi and we got hammered with snow. I grew up in SoCal and spent all my time camping either in Yucca Valley, Johnson valley or El Mirage. I missed so much of SoCal that I didn't even know existed. I hate California but you guys make me wish I still lived there. So much to explore
@395jnky6 ай бұрын
Thanks so much. There are still some great things about California we try to focus on...the trails being a big part of that. Happy Easter! Thanks for watching

Nice video Daniel, been using the Summit Outfitters table several years now, it is a great table - hope you had someone off camera catch that thing! LOL. Just recently got a Zarges box and really impressed also - I dont know how you can beat the weight savings combined with the quality. 👍

Yah..that table is really nice and can handle a litle bit of a beating. And yes, I had someone off screen. LOL. Thanks for the comment and watching Mike! Happy Easter!

Well, that was an interesting video-not what I’ve become used to from you guys. I like it!! Got myself a fridge after we talked last time and used it on my way home to Canada and it WAS a game changer! Thanks or recommending I get one. Question-what are your thoughts on scrap or ground sheet under the ground tents? Good? Bad?
@paulajfdz6 ай бұрын
I grew up camping and now my little family and I have been overlanding for a few years. We still use a ground tent and have a mix of lower and higher priced camping gear. Truck is still stock but 4x4 and we’ve been everywhere. You don’t need fancy things to get started! Great video as always. Love the content. Happy trails!

I have to say that a lot of the gear you reviewed in this episode is stuff that I have put together over the years. Besides the Gazelle tent, also the Exped pad (I have that same 6" deluxe one!), The Kermit chairs! I got my Kermit back when I was camping with my dual sport motorcycle. I just have finished adding a Jackery and fridge to my Toyota truck. I did a rear seat delete and anchored it down there.

As much as I love using a dutch oven, with Cali's fire restrictions it is kind of hard to use consistently. Totally use it if you can, just keep that in mind. Also the only way to find out works for you is to go out and find out. Don't be afraid to use paid campgrounds if you're vehicle can't get to these more remote spots.
