Unlike O, smaller guys like us don't want pay off early. This etf adds to tax like your job. Interest lowers our taxes. So we better of just focusing on more shares. About $2100=100 shares.

I dont know man, the only way this seems like itll workout is if amzy can consistently rise in price for 2 years. Even if you use borrowed money, youre not really going anywhere. I got 50k in it, i just got 2k dividends, the price of amzy dropped, now i am still at a balance of 50k and ill be taxed on that 2k i just made in dividends. Even oracles account balance is dropping. Maybe im missing something but so far in my account ive done nothing but stay at the same spot but come tax time ill be at a loss.

Is 50k your $$ or is it a loan? If it’s a loan and even if the NAV drops then after you pay off the loan, what do you care? You get to keep that $$. Yes you pay taxes at ordinary income, so what? Let’s say you start at 50 and end up at 20 after 2 years. Where’s the problem? Now, it it’s your $$ then that could be a problem
