T5's aren't that hard to get even for people that are semi spenders, just need to actually be smart and not be an idiot on games. im semi close to t5's on mage at $4k, if i add another $4k i can easily get it but not instantly because i actually play the game smart and not whale everything, even this guy did it wrong by just doing everything in 1 go, i would have waited until i got 15% research to do all the research 15% building and 15% training runes. But i get why this guys did it, its great content to have all that speed ups and just boost everything, i reckon he would have waited patiently if he do any content and just play the game. Best thing you can do if you're a semi spender is play the game on new server, wait until maybe 3-4 days and play and just do everything normally yet already spend some money to get everything ready, join the biggest alliance because obviously they got spenders on it as well so your benefiting of them too and then start from there. Honestly i can go on and on on how to actually play the game proper but you get the jist of it. Don't need sell your house, you sell your house to get what he got and i will laugh at you for having a box for a house to think it cost a house to get that power on the game 😂😂

fyi, if you are trying to calculate how much speed ups you need. 30 Alliance helps is 26% off the original timer if they all come in quickly when the research starts. It's worded weirdly but 1 help is 1% off the remaining time, unless 1 min off is greater than 1%. So as the timer depletes the 1% help is less time off.

When you upgrade T-4 to T-5, it is more efficient speedup to power wise, but less efficient resources resources to power wise. Something I didn't realize when I was pushing my Greatest Heights.

The VIP shop has the best value for speedups, the 24 and 8 hours ones especially, otherwise its just buying packs but special events pack (like the anniversary one we have right now) are the best value by a lot!

What I can tell you is I had about 2 years of universal speedups though I was left with a decent chunk by the end, I have now all T5 except celestials and have gone through the entire rest of my universals, so id say, from the point where I started to 4/5 T5 2 years should be good (using a 15% rune instead of my 10%)
