It’s not fair to call this a guide if you don’t have notations in. Still good ideas for routes tho
@TheVibeFu11 ай бұрын
Because i already know feng i can look at your movements and know the input but you should start adding them tho
@Yogi-Bee11 ай бұрын
My original intention was to add notation in this video, but I had no clue where to find the Tekken notation PNG online and also there were too many combos to showcase in this video. There are loads of combo guides of Feng on KZbin with NO notation. I generally thought sharing these combos with the world would be a great idea.

@@Yogi-Bee At least input history would be great, alternatively via the captions. Ngl as a beginner I'm super lost like this
@Yogi-Bee11 ай бұрын
@@Nerevaar As a beginner, I would recommend looking at your character move list and getting a feel for them. After that, you can move onto the sample combo to understand how the combo system works. I hope that helps.

@@Yogi-Bee I'm looking for optimal combos, the sample combos are pretty terrible, I'm not gonna use a launcher if I get like 50 damage from that
@Yogi-Bee11 ай бұрын
@@Nerevaar I never told you to use those sample combos in a real match. I said after you get used to Feng move list, go to the sample combo to understand how the system works. From there, you can always move on to combo challenges and come back to this video, and you shouldn’t get lost.

That very first launch combo is really tight on the timing. I'm having a hard time connecting the two standing jabs with the df4,2,1+2. When I did finally land it, I was so surprised that I forgot to follow it with the uf3. I'll get there though. This is really helpful, even without inputs. It gives me a lot of good ideas that I wouldn't have thought to string together on my own. Thanks!
@Yogi-Bee7 ай бұрын
Dude, just do what’s comfortable for you until you get used to the timing. After that, attempt another harder combo until you have the muscle memory, and then you should be good to go. Thanks for watching 😊👍

@@Yogi-Bee Yeah, I'm definitely not trying to break myself or force it. Just labbed it a bit to make sure I understood what I was looking at, and am pointing out that some of these are actually quite technical. It's impressive and cool to see.

Can you make a video on how to pressure with feng. I like him he is good ive made it to orange rank with him but not knowing or having any strings to throw out while the opponent is blocking is killing me. I have no presure unless i get a launch

I totally agree there are hardly any videos of Feng pressure game plan on KZbin. But I really recommend you watch some replays of yourself. The game is really great for recommending tips. But for now I found a video for you. kzbin.info/www/bejne/kGqceH6EnseFiassi=kwGsMMP_i5-NdPXk I hope this helps you. Regarding this topic, making a video on that I'm going to need some time to cook👨🍳

@Yogi-Bee I understand watching my own replay but I don't know any inputs for offensive pressure while players are in guard but I'm gonna keep grinding
@Yogi-Bee11 ай бұрын
@@TheVibeFu It sounds like to me, you need to add throws and lows to your game plan. For e.g u/f 1+2 is very strong at low to intermediate levels, because to break that throw, they have to press 1+2, and then you do a cheeky d/ 3+4 for extra damage, also that throw can floor break. Regarding using lows, use d/b 3 but don’t abuse it and can get punished if blocked. That low can evade high moves and some mids. It's an unseeable low and on counter hit it’s ridiculous for mix up potential. Go to training mode and test those move out 💪

The first combo is heavily unsafe Edit: f3+4 isn’t safe as a combo Starter even tho it’s a really good launcher
@Yogi-Bee10 ай бұрын
I would highly recommend using F3,4 as a whiff punisher. Also, F3 is -3 making it safe on block. Plus, you could use F3,2 which is also -3 on block, but the 2 can be duckable and punished if you become predictable at a much higher level of gameplay.
@JannahSWT10 ай бұрын
@@Yogi-Bee i know what you’re talking about, sure it’s a good whiff but trying to land it in any other case as a combo starter is pretty bad, what i meant in the first place is that it might me confusing for new players trying to learn some combos, if you add text with notations and the situation when to use what it would be better, Feng is really good since he has tools for everything but we experienced players gotta help them new players where we can bro
@Yogi-Bee10 ай бұрын
@@JannahSWT As someone new to tekken I would learn my character moves list and learn how the combo system work then I’ll look up a character guide on my character then look into combo it not my fault if you want to skip step, that’s on you. Plus I’ve said I wanted to add notations to this video, but couldn’t find the PNG online when this game first came out. There are around round about 30 combos in this video. When I tried to add notes to the combos it was so confusing it was best to leave them out. You also seem to know your way around Feng Wei how many other content creators have no notations in their video. Why are people acting like this is the only channel on KZbin without notations? The last thing I’m going to say on this topic. KZbin DON'T PAY ME! Why can’t people just be happy if I want to share some ideas?
