At first I thought..hmm not really for me. But then I remembered..hey this is that lady who always has great info.so I watched and I can't believe I almost missed out on a wealth of info. Lori, girl!!!!! If I could hug you, I would! Thank you so much for showing us all of this information. I now have a whole new respect and outlook of my Prisma babies and endless respect for you. So many of us have been knowingly or unknowingly searching for this kind of information and here you are 💕 I understood my Prismas to an extent and now I'm looking forward to understanding them fully. I often wondered if the French Grey was more for nature and bam, you confirmed it a week or two ago. I've been learning things from you off and on for awhile now. This past month, WOW, you have taught us all so much. I wish there was a way we could repay you for all that you have done for us. If you ever need anything, don't be shy, please ask me. I'm forever grateful and thankful for you 💕

I loved your tutorial!! But I do have one question there are 4 more color sets from Prismacolor that contain pencils that are not in my 150 set. Those sets are Botanical, Landscape, Highlights and Shading, and Under the Sea. Plus in DickBlick they have about 20 pencil colors that are not offered any any set at all. What am I missing? Thank you!

wow I am speechless!!!!! ..I have been educated in so much color pencil awareness today with your excellent explanation for the pencil combinations .I never ever realized that there is a true logic to the blending certain colors together .I thought that it was a basically a personal choice for certain combinations .... .I see that there is a recipe type of formula to how to combine certain pencils colors together ....... I am in awe that the certain colored pencils are so "married" to certain other pencils in the set like peanut butter and jelly ..lol. Thankyou for opening my eyes to the important information on how to view pencil colors combinations . I seem to play more russian roulette when I chose colored pencils lol..NOW I am eager to learn more but I am worried that I can not remember these basic facts ...so I might have to write down these combinations or make a form of a combination swatch chart with the colored pencils that work in harmony ....lol....I wonder if you have designed your own chart or have you previously seen a chart that follows your basic combinations ?

Wow, what book is that page from with all the candy? It's so beautiful! And I'm not sure if I've asked you this already as I do have serious memory problems 😕 But yeah - it's so beautiful and I want to use your Coloring as a reference for me to try to emulate. Oh! But it's not like I'm going to post it anywhere on social media/plagiarise your colouring or anything like that. And I very much doubt I'll be able to even do a good enough copy of it to even like... just show my Mum! It'd be like... a beginner in piano trying to copy Chopin or something - very unlikely to turn out anywhere near to what yours is. But yeah often with illustrations like this that are fairly busy, I find it difficult to decide what colours to use and this would be extremely helpful. And I actually really like the Grey background. It makes everything stand out a lot more. But yeah, what book is this one from? Hope that you're well and keeping safe 💓💐

I find the actual consistency of Neon pencils (and not just in the Prismacolors, but in almost every brand I've tried that has Neons) to be very... uneven, wax bumpy and difficult to get it on the paper in a smooth way. I don't know if anyone else has ever had that problem, but yeah - I love vibrant colours, but I can't find many coloured pencil sets that do Neons very well. Is there anything that can be done to make them a bit more... palatable? And how do they actually make a pencil Neon? Like with Pastels, they add White. But how would you go about creating a Neon? Is it even possible? But yeah I'm very curious about what other colours they use to even create a Neon in the first place.
@ColorMyWorld4 жыл бұрын
Yep, I am doing a video now using the neons. I have some discontinued prisma neons that I broke out for it. I have both red and green. I don't have neon blue yet but I'll find it someday.

I was wondering if you ever use the colorless blender? Thank you for this channel, I never thought of some of the combinations.
@ColorMyWorld6 жыл бұрын
Almost never. I am more comfortable with using a lighter shade of pencil to blend with. For me, the blender pen melts the wax too much and turns it looking like marker, but I never say never to anything. I'll use it on stubborn paper or marks that just won't flow and blend out. Right now I don't own one at all.

For your white paint marker do you pretty much always highlight with the xfine bullet nib one? Because i was debating whether to order that one or the one that has the fine liner pen tip. I was thinking the xfine bullet tip would be too big but am noticing your using it.
@ColorMyWorld5 жыл бұрын
I have been working with a brush nib lately. Night and day. I won't be going back to a hard nib. The pitt pen has been a total dream to use. A drop of fine liner posca right in the middle of the pitt and it works great. I am a total convert.
